What type of guitar would you recommend to where the frets aren't so spread apart at the end of the neck? I find that when I'm at the end of the neck I've always got my fingers on the wrong frets, but the closer to the sound hole I'm always spot on
If you’re really struggling on the lower strings (they are always farther apart the closer to the headstock you get) you could try a parlor guitar - it’s just a bit smaller. If you’re a beginner there are lots to choose from in the moderate price range. Maybe a baby Taylor or even something inexpensive like a Recording King. I’ve been playing guitar for a long time, so it’s not as easy for me to tell what is ‘easy’ to play compared to ‘harder’ - they either feel good or they don’t to me. But Taylor, in particular, make guitars with a narrower neck and they are always well made and are set up well (easier to play). I mentioned Recording King simply because I happen to have one of their parlor guitars and I like the way it plays. Also great for having a guitar that I’m not worried about banging (although in the decade I’ve owned it it’s the one guitar I’ve never actually bonked on something).
Your talking about scale length. There's short scale and Long scale. The one your looking for is short scale. It's the common Gibson length. guitars like fender have wider fret length and make fretting chords more of a stretch

You should put your mic on mono for obs recording in the settings that way your voice will always be in both ears evenly in the software.
Got to practice that bit. Sounds like Blackbird’
