I love my gerber I believe it’s the suspension model. I was leatherman until someone gave me the suspension to try out. 4 years later and I’m still using that same one he gave me, that he had for like 8 or 9 years. I never don’t have it on me. Good video Junior!

I am thrilled for the new pouch which looks better and is cleaner at least! But that old Gerber has saved our butts a crap ton of times.

I bet Junior is just as handy as the multi tool.

My MP-600 is 19 years young and sill kicking butt. You know that you can buy a bit set for the 400 600 800 & diesel for $9.99 to $19.99.

Check out the Gerber Knives made in the USA it will be a tan and black page they are a Gerber dealer and a lot cheaper prices I bought a LMF II for $82 plus $6.99 for engraving. I bought 3 small multi tools for $12.99 to $15.99 plus the tool kits for $9.99 the curve the slice & the vice. The slice and vice the tool kit works great the curve being so not as good.

Howdy Junior, I have a leatherman that I use daily for at least the last twenty years. I had to go get mine out to see if I use both hands to open, lol I didn't but mine has seen some miles and hours. Thanks for the video.

I love my Gerber. The one handed opening is key and its more comfortable than the Leatherman style. I purchased the leather pouch for mine, I was tired of the nylon ones wearing out. Have you considered sending your old one to Gerber for repair? I bet they will fix it right up for free. They did for me and I even told them straight up that I abused it!!

Jr... doesn’t Gerber make baby food and didees???
I have a no-name multi-tool in my Gator. I need it once and a while. It never fails to p!ss me off.
The knife won’t hold an edge. The pliers pinch my skin. The Phillips screw driver is fantastic at camming out and ruining screws. The can opener broke on the first can of pork&beans it touched. The file is so smooth i can’t file paint off my fingernails. The saw is so bad I thought it was a fish scaler... didn’t work for that either.
But my favorite is... The corkscrew. Its point is bent so badly that the helix just reams a hole in the corks... that p-o’d me to the point that I changed over to wine in a box!!
Why don’t I get rid of it and get a good one? Simple. My wife got it from a supplier at work. I was gonna toss it in my waste of time tools drawer... but, the pouch is camouflage and matches the Gator. She thinks it accessorizes perfectly... happy wife/happy life!!!

I also have an old Schrade multi tool. I've had it for at least 30 years, and I'm thinking more like 40 years, but can't remember for sure.
