I have nothing to say apart from this is fucking stunning. Undoubtedly one of the most ethereally beautiful pastiche Prelude+Fugues I've ever listen to. Huge congratulations on this!

What a lovely Prelude and Fugue! There are lots of things you do very well. Your harmonic language is very mature, especially demonstrated by the seamless modulations as a way to enrich your harmony. I especially like that you don't shy away from explicit dissonances - the Prelude is especially full of luscious suspensions. My favourite moment is near the end of your Fugue where you used all those rhetorical devices, like the six-part dramatic chords, and the fast rhythms, to create a convincing climax.
Personally, I would love to have seen, in the Prelude, the demisemiquaver rhythm being exploited fully towards the end of the piece. From bb.9 your writing becomes suddenly based on semiquavers. This is very effective - there's an excellent contrast with the previous eight bars. But the demisemiquavers never fully return. They are used only sparingly for the remainder of the piece. I think bringing them back towards the end (either gradually or suddenly) would be an excellent way to create climax and unity - bringing the piece to where it begun! There's also a few places where the piece becomes unplayable in the Fugue. Keep the instrumentation in mind when you write! It will force you to consider how to create a desired sonority without all of the available musical tools at hand.
Please keep writing music! I look forward to hearing more compositions from you.

I like the harmonic language you used throughout, especially with the modulations in the prelude. The syncopations in the fugue were also ingenious

This is positively delightful. I love the trills in the prelude and the fugue is wonderful. Very expressive, vibrant, and fantastic work! (:

How did you get connected beams across the two staves? I’m actually ironically writing a fugue right now and I’ve run into a problem with this on musescore.

Sorry for the late response I have overlooked your comment. You probably have found the solution but if not hit CTRL+SHIFT + depending on which stave you want the note on.
