As a Canadian and a Jays fan, I honestly don’t see how they’ll be better next year with the same guys. Why not let the youngsters play more often, they’re doing much better than everyone else except Vlad.
I have said that the Jays could get half of the OKC rotation for Bo, but those guys are now in the LA rotation. lol Why would any team trying to get to the playoffs want Scherzer? He'll probably come up with a 'dead arm' again.
I'll buy it, Padres Diamondbacks Cardinals and Braves all contenders for that wildcard it's easy pickings if Mets keep winning series. Plus ownership is loaded.
Braves, Yankees, and Twins, "Really good teams, the Mets might have some issues" I would of agreed with you on those 3 "good-teams" a month ago, but you need to pull the Yankees out of there. The Mets crushed the Yankees the last time they played and the Yankees are like 7-25 - and I am a fan, but like most Yankee fans, we a pissed off at the team, the manager, the GM, and the owner.
I hope the O's just sit out the trade deadline. They're playing horrendous baseball the last 3 weeks. They can't score runs and they can't pitch. Just keep playing the young guys and let them develop. Sucks they're wasting the year they had with Corbin Burnes, but don't make it worse by trading away the farm.
