- The Amphibian Boots from Terraria is an early-game accessory that provides vertical and horizontal mobility. Despite not having that many features, I still think it is highly superior to the Terraspark Boots, which is renowned for its complex recipe and numerous features. Just right after finishing this video, I realized that the accessory was nerfed in Terraria 1.4.4. Despite being a massive nerf, I never realized it until I read the wiki, which shows how good the accessory still is, even after having its strength reduced.
that's the reason i think the terraspark boots shouldn't be the last in the crafting tree maybe should have another craft in which both terraspark and amphibian boots are combined making the (my name please dont laugh) the terraphibian boots
Considering how recently they created the "Shellphone", an upgrade to the Terraspark Boots would be a good idea. However, it kind of ruins the name of the legendary boots. To be honest, I don't think it's that much of a sacrifice to use Amphibian Boots instead of a Terraspark Boots, and in my opinion, it's more beneficial.

1 year later, and I have come back to this video. My thumbnails are different, my editing style is similar but a bit different, and I dropped the AI voice. It only takes a few months to change.

I agree. I sometimes get the ingredients by accident.
It is quick but theres no adventure and you have to worry about bait and not getting any enemy drops for other things like if you need to get the magma stone to shimmer into lava charm, if you are mage you can also get the demon sicle while you are at it or the anklet of the wind you can fight jungle enemies or try to get the natures gift or jungle chest items

1.Or even better. You could shimmerdupe the potions using the alchemist stand thingy and shimmer becouse stand has a chance to not take a resource and shimmer always returns full potion recipie

The audio mixing on this video is kinda bad but atleast I can hear you so it works.
To start, I agree these are much better but I'd say for bosses, and not general exploring. If you don't have time for terraspark Then these are simply those but better in a lot of ways. Overall I would use terraspark for casual convenien e and these for bosses.
at first i thought Amphibian Boots was just another worthless accessory that people overhyped a lot. Then it proceeded to carry me hard (alongside EoL Insignia) against Moon Lord

You don't need that. The Terraspark boots have a maximum speed of 34 mph and the amphibian boots have a maximum speed is 30 mph, that is hardly a significant difference. Also, Terraria is a game where vertical movement is vastly more important during boss fights than horizontal movement. Also, if the difference in speed bothers you that much you can just slap on a fast moving ground mount and you'd be way faster than both the Terraspark boots and amphibian boots anyways. (Bunny mount in pre hm. Unicorn mount in early hm. Hexxed branch in late hm which has a whopping 80 mph horizontal movement speed with insane acceleration)
@@sepharon755 Bro i beated master mode with terraspark, The problem here is some skill issues depending on each players are playing i guess, So for players that are not many good yes, I would recommend vertical movement.

now, me personally, i think that people that use potions at all are f*#@ing cowards for doing so that cant just get better at the game yadda yadda bla bla bla, but also, a big part of this is what new players are seeing with this type of video, the players who don't want to make farms they have to grind for hours and hours as a daily chore see this type of video and get the impression that potions are extremely easy to get and then find themselves struggling because they were told that the amphibian boots were just better and id actually like to see some real discussion about this whole topic in the future
already from the first sentence i can already tell you have not played any sort of mods or master mode
potions are te difference between life and death a lot of time and are practically necessity
@@The_Deep_Blue Exactly! While I don't disagree that getting potions is kind of time consuming, it compounds, and if you have the patience, you will be able to stock up on them. They make small but important differences in the gameplay.
