It’s not just the car that’s the factor but the driver you take someone who knows nothing about racing and stick them in a fast car that has good handling and then take a veteran racer who’s knows a lot about racing and put them in say the gte the veteran racer will win 9 out of 10 times due to experience every one thinks it’s the car that makes the difference but they’re wrong it’s the driver that makes a lot of the difference a lot of people like drag racing it’s like yeah that’s cool n all but it really only shows off the cars ability to accelerate and to see who reaches the finish line, circuit tracks test the cars ability to accelerate, slow down, it’s handling around corners and the driver’s ability to control the car, for me drag racing is for high speeds and circuit racing is for testing actual skill.
Thank you so much for your insightful comment! You are absolutely right - while the performance of the vehicle is crucial, the skills and experience of the driver play a decisive role on the track. That's exactly why we are eager to bring our lap time videos to our audience. All lap times are tested by our Guru, a driver with a decade of track experience, known for driving a $20,000 Chinese car to a time of 8:06 at Nürburgring during an open track day. So, we believe every lap time video we present objectively reflects the overall performance of the car. Thanks again for your comment, and please subscribe if you are interested in track content.
