Hey Zig, I have heard the transmissions under hard and prolonged use are the weak link but after a couple of laps? Wow, they are supercharging the coyote's like crazy and the transmissions are holding up to boosted HP. Must have been some crazy cops! Haha

Great tour. Micheal Bay needs to start putting snakes in his films. The Fast and Furious fanchise needs to put more snakes in. Cruse needs to have Ethan Hunt drive around in a snake in future Mission Impossible films. San Lee needs to *insist* that snakes be in a *all* of his Marvel films. Wolverene needs to be driving around in a snake. Wonder Woman would evan be *more* sexy if she drove around in a snake. I *insist* that the Smokey And The Bandit reboot have a snake instead of a TA.

Again, some enthusiasts are willing to pay for something they want. Clearly Shelby is tapping into that market or they wouldn't be in business. It's not for everyone.
Carrol Shelby has had nothing much to do with the Shelby cense 1970 when he sold the rights to the car to Ford except promo,s and some R&D Ford was going to sue Carrol when he went to Dodge because of trade mark issues. That why the the Shelby dodge Daytona didn't last but a year or so
So basically shelby has over extended themself, they are not so unique anymore, basically a Standard GT Mustang with even 1,000 HP and all the extras brake, suspension, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc, will never ever get your Money back unless you park it in a O2 controlled space / bubble and turn it over with the Odometer harness disconnected and all wheels turning and run it for about 20 minutes every month and wait about 30 years you might get your $$ back, but then again those who can afford it, do not give a shit about the money, like the a hay abs who just leave it on the side of the road when it breaks down ?
I am not sure what your point is, Shelby has a business, they sell goods and services. If the marketplace didn't want it then it wouldn't exist. Poof it would go away. It will never be 1965 again this is 2018 and this is the current state of Shelby American.

I am not sure , not everything on the floor is a customer car. They have some R and D stuff too. Yes they do cars that are shipped globally.
If they offer the Supersnake brake package with the EcoBoost itll be a monster drivers car.

if you had a 2014 GT500, With only about $3,000 and a couple weeks you've got a 800hp with already a beefed up drivetrain?
There are plenty of cars you can mod yourself and get high HP, that is not the point for someone having their car transformed by the Shelby factory.
Point is COST
For some people that is a non-issue or there would be no Roush, Saleen, Shelby, etc.....
OR ,there would be No American Muscle, Steeda ,Bear,Brembo ,Whipple or "The Shelby Store"

More like '68 that is when Ford took over production of the Shelby Mustangs, it was all a marketing agreement after that.
