    The reason why many think they’re unable to meditate is thinking they’re doing it‘wrong’, and other‘experts’ backing that belief.
    And why will YOUR take on that work ? BECAUSE yours is one of the VERY RARE videos where the content actually MATCHES the title.
    There are hundreds of them on TH-cam alone, learn HOW to meditate, and yet they actually tell you nothing of the sort.
    So thank you Veronica. I have approached it a few times over the decades and always believed that I CANNOT DO IT PROPERLY.
    I actually am a chest breather and don’t know how to do so in the proper manner. And up to and including last year, when I mention it to my doctor, without skipping a beat he immediately says it’s all in your mind. Well no, it’s in my upper chest. So bless you, darling.

    It's true. After trauma and a supet dark depressive period I started meditating and lo and behold my gifts, repressed memories etc all came back. I has repressed my whole childhood up to my early 20s, then repressed my sister and mother dying. I am currently developing my mediumship after working over the fear and it is 100% true. I don't meditate daily (will be from now on) but just a week and the visions and hearing etc started coming in, the repressed memories of seeing and sensing spirit in 3d world all of it came back. Then spoke with the famoly and found i am in a line of mediums and I am the only one to accept and develop it and not see it as a curse.

    I’m 26 and unfortunately suffer with tinnitus and have to go to hearing therapy at a hospital. They actually sit you down and go through different meditation techniques! At first I was thinking how does all this help with my hearing? But after trying it for a few months I can say that it actually does! I can’t believe how much it’s helped me control something that I’ve felt helpless about for so long!

    So I have been meditating for 8 months now and what you say in your video is no b******* my life has changed so much my mind is much more clear I have more energy than ever I am never sick I used to go to the chiropractor 6 times a year and since I started meditating I did not go once my body does not ache anymore it helped me completely stop drinking and smoking pot! if I skip one day of meditation I have less energy and less love to give to others I am so excited with all the benefits I want all my friends and family members to start meditating!
    Also I discovered that meditating under a pyramid gives you more energy and even further if you attach one piece of clear quartz on each of your inside wrist (approx. 2 inches long) while meditating = enhanced energy ☺

    I guess I didn't really think about this as being meditating, but whenever I get my blood pressure taken, I sit there with my eyes closed, focus on my breathing, and I picture myself by a beautiful tree with a stream running by it, and I focus on watching the water move through the rocks. It helps me relax and lowers my blood pressure.

    Chronic overthinker and possible ADHDer here, the “getting on the thought train” part is where I always end up and why I always find meditating so frustrating… and trying to find the “right” way to meditate. Relieving to hear I can just simply allow the thoughts to come and go. Thank you. I’m going to jump in and try to remain consistent with it for a full 30 days this time 🫶🏼🤍

    I tried meditation. It was a video of a girl guiding you through it and it was about meeting your spirit guide through meditation. I can link the video in a comment reply but at first it was hard to breathe. I remember then focusing on what she said. I tried to get mental images of what she said and I thought. I remember her saying "go have fun and explore with the light and explore" I then thought of me exploring nature and got memories of me and my friends exploring nature. Then after 3 mintues? I saw a bear pop up out of nowhere and it was a grizzly bear. I started petting it while it was on top of me and it was friendly. Then I was like huh what if I focus on the lights you see when your eyes are closed? So i focused and i saw this green color going around in a circle and idk if my eyes were opening slightly but i saw my glasses slightly so I tightened my closed eyes a tiny bit then I remember a white light getting so bright and my eyes were closed to the point where the white light was soooooo bright and it was coming close then I freaked out and opened my eyes and got up and was really dizzy. I don't know what happened but I was frightened

So going for a walk or doing a little bit of exercise help you as well. So will journaling because it gets all the stuff out of your mind and onto the page.

    I’ve always thought spirituality and everything involved including meditation was just a load of woo-woo.
    The point you’ve made make a lot of sense to me.
    The main issues I have at the moment and for a really long time now is sleep and my monkey brain jumping from one thing to the next and I find it very difficult to turn it off, but I think meditation will be beneficial to me so I’m challenging myself to do 1 month of meditation for 15 minutes at least twice a day .
    I’ll keep you updated on my progress, thank you for breaking it all down for us newbies.

    Dear Veronica, thanks to you, I've started my meditation everyday, in the morning so that I less likely fall asleep.
    My questions are......how long of a meditation maximal do you recommend? is it a good idea to say prayers in a meditation? what should I do if sometimes I get bored in the middle?
    Today I felt my left hand was held and an understanding came up my mind but now I forgot.
    The way you explain about meditation is the best I've ever heard of......to allow your soul to come forward. (& receive guidance in my case). Also, it shows that you are willing to communicate with your higher self.
    Before doing meditations, I had great trance experiences when I did portraits....

      Hi there. ❤️ Meditate as long as you like, but 15 minutes is sufficient. I go in stages where I spend more time meditating than others. I just listen to my body. If you get bored and are struggling go back to a mantra or focusing on your breathing to occupy your mind more.

    The point of meditation is not sitting in perfect lotus position or whatever. You can meditate on a park bench or your favorite chair at home. The point of it is not following "rules" - the point of it is just to spend time with yourself in silence and solitude so your mind can sort itself out. THAT'S what helps you!

    Dear Veronica, thanks for all your videos!! I started meditating thanks to you and really love it♥️! I am getting good I think, at least because I am doing it every single day, sometimes 20 min, some other time 40. But I have a question about what to visualize in the process if you could please help me. My question is.. How do I get the best benefits from meditation? trying to stop my thoughts and focusing on a neutral environment(as the Space for example, where nothing happens basically), or visualizing things happening, such myself in the life I dream about, imagining me in my dreamjob or future family? I noticed that when I am able to empty my mind I go much deeper and after that it is like awakening from a deep sleep. When I visualize things instead, I just feel happy because I daydreamed basically😂, but I stand up much more awake, as if I just took a short break. In terms of raising my vibrations, are both equally working? Sorry for the stupid question😂 and anyway I love you and your channel!!! You're just enlightening and lovely!!! Thank you very very much to be here🤗♥️🤗 Elena

      Thank you! You’re so sweet and good for you on the meditating!! In my opinion, visualizing should be an entirely different thing than meditating. Visualizing engages your brain and prevents you from going deep. Try to just be and allow yourself to slide under. Going deep is beneficial when you can manage to get there, but even if you stay more on the surface it will still benefit you.

    This was very helpful! This is Dee Ann. We spoke earlier today and you suggested this video for me. I have a question about meditation in general for me. It seems every time I meditate, I drift off and I think I start dreaming, but not sure. I just tried your 15 minute Crown meditation link (wonderful!) and there were 5 mini-videos that went through my mind. After each one, I would catch myself and wake back up and become fully aware again. Then I would drift off again for the next one. They each last 2 or 3 minutes and all totally different topics. They are not fleeting thoughts, but rather little uncontrollable videos, sometimes short recaps of a movie I saw once. In fact, I just had a recap of All That Heaven Allows with Rock Hudson. I haven't thought of or seen that movie in years! Am I falling asleep? Or is this just going into a deeper state? Should I not force myself out it? (I sure wanted to see the end of that movie!) When I come out of it, I remember hearing the music the entire time. Another short video I just had was me on a small mountain bike riding on my street and standing up on the bike to peer into the valley below. I don't even have a small mountain bike and I've never done that before! Thanks!

    • @TheWholenessShift
      @TheWholenessShift  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you are just going to a deeper state. Don’t try to do it or try not to do it. Just surrender and allow and you soul will do whatever it needs in that experience.

    That is a really good and precise description about , and 👍🏻
    I think I have accidentally self learnt meditation years ago when I am investigating OBE which I still cannot make it cus I falls asleep everytime. The beginning part of relaxing and clearing mind (I think some of them called this part as medication too) is similar in my opinion, and I always thinking/worrying about it. But since I mostly end up sleeping, I slowly learnt that it is not a big deal to worry cus I feel it is a process of bringing myself to a relax state which is really close to falling asleep (just personal opinion, feel free to correct me). Then, I turned to worry about is this really medication or I am doing it wrong 😂
    I am really grateful to watch your video, which gives me more confidence to know I am in a right path. Thank You So Much For Sharing!

    This was very helpful - thanks for sharing your experiences! Is it accurate to say when you're asleep you are essentially meditating? I'm a little confused as to the difference because when I'm asleep my mind isn't "thinking", it just "is".

    • @TheWholenessShift
      @TheWholenessShift  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes but when you’re awake and being still, it is actually training your mind and your ego to be still the rest of your waking time. During meditation your conscious mind is still in charge, whereas during sleep your subconscious mind takes over.

    What is the difference between meditating and journeying(Native American)?

    • @TheWholenessShift
      @TheWholenessShift  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well, I don’t actually know much about journeying, but from what I do know, meditation focuses on the experience of being still and journeying focuses on the content of the experience or what information/knowledge can be gathered and obtained. I could be wrong but this is how I understand it.

    • @TheWholenessShift
      @TheWholenessShift  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep, It would be a start. Lots of people use repetitive exercise, walking, or yoga as a form of meditation because it’s easy to zone out. However, you won’t go as deep as you would if you would just meditate. It’s not possible.

    • @monique9134
      @monique9134 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No.. Because you can't breathe slow enough when you walk, it's speed up your breathing... Also can go into trance while meditate so you don't wanna fell off your exercise machine.. Lol Same reason you shouldn't meditate while driving..
