Books on TM that I would not recommend (Save your time, save your money)
Strength in Stillness: The Power of Transcendental Meditation by Bob Roth
    amzn.to/2s2hy2M
Transcendence: Healing and Transformation Through Transcendental Meditation by Norman E. Rosenthal M.D. :
    amzn.to/2VgSH8X
    Transcendental Meditation by Jack Forem:
    amzn.to/2VeK1Qs
Super Mind: How to Boost Performance and Live a Richer and Happier Life Through Transcendental Meditation by Norman E Rosenthal:
    amzn.to/2SruVoX
These books will not teach you anything about Transcendental Meditation as the aim is to get you to do the course. Can you learn meditation from a book? Yes. You definitely can. Of course, you will have to practice.
    OTHER BOOKS I RECOMMEND:
    ESSENTIALISM by Greg McKeown

I have been talking about it for a while, and I have very happy to present to you our first guided meditation today!
I am not affiliated with the TM organization, or the David Lynch foundation. All meditation practice is, by definition, transcendent. TM is a brand that is heavily trademarked. As such I am not allowed to teach you Transcendental Meditation (TM) because when I have tried, the tm organization tried to sue me!
BUT here is another kind of meditation that I have conceptualized for this youtube channel. It will bring you the same benefits as transcendental meditation, and you are allowed to share this meditation with your friends and family and practice it for free!
We use a sound instead of a mantra, and following this sound will help you lose track of time, space, and ultimately, this meditation will get you into trans, or transcendence.
Please make sure you are wearing headphones, in order to fully immerse yourself in the transcendental experience.
Want to support the channel? You can buy me a coffee: www.buymeacofee.com/raph THANK YOU!

This was my first video to meditate. I started yesterday afternoon.
I'm already shocked at the results. I have horribly severe depression, and I always feel suicidal...
But after meditating along with your videos, I actually do not feel sad anymore. Today I felt stressed after work, so I mediated when I got home. I felt wonderful. Like never before. I like how it isn't really me escaping from my problems. But it's me finding peace within myself, and feeling relaxed with who I am.
I just want to say thank you. The fact you provide this for us for free... I feel like a thief!😂
But, seriously, thank you. Your channel is already saving me.

Yes i came back after a year. I'm doing raphs 100 day meditation . As I did this one did of his a year ago . I came back to it. The experience overwhelmed me at first. Came back here and saw raph had left me a comment saying to relax . It's now 2021 . I'm trying again. His meditations are helping to cope with being off work from Jan to March. And being in lockdown. I decided to use it as a retreat. From the world.

When in college, many years ago, my mind was racing; too busy to quiet my mind. 30 years later I tried again. I was shocked to discover my quiet mind!
It's an age thing. As we become familiar with our minds, life changes for the better. Persist in all ways possible. Psychoanalysis
gave me much insight; meditation can give us similar insights! Question everything, except Meditation. Best wishes!

I've been attempting Transcendental Meditation/Vedic Meditation for like a month now. Obviously there is a whole host of different ideas and advice on how it should be done. Nothing seems to come close to this video for me! I love the relaxation session at the beginning, and the noise seems to fulfil the same role as a mantra; but I always end up feeling like I use effort to silently 'say' the mantra in my mind. I don't have that problem with the 'sound' in the video. Love it!

This vibration sound is so comforting. It reminds me of when I was a young child. I used to lean over our old washing machine while it was on the spin cycle because I loved the loud sound it made as it vibrated. That little nostalgia is just a nice, small side benefit for me. My mind wasn't perfectly quiet during this meditation, but it was much, much calmer than it normally is and it was far easier for me to quickly focus back on the sound once a thought did enter my mind. I'm sold on your knowledge, your manner of teaching, etc. from this video and others I've seen from you. I just enrolled in your full meditation course today and look forward to getting started. Thank you, sir.

They are up there with Scientologists now. If its as good as they say the courts will decide. I don't see anyone being able to claim the rights to it since the original inventors have been dead for thousands of years.

Look up meditation trust online. It’s not part of the Transcedental Meditation movement but the founder learnt/trained with Maharishi. (Which is expensive). Also look up Deepak Chopra.
There’s also info on you tube.
The guided meditation here is not TM. With TM you have a mantra that you recite silently.
I learnt TM with the Meditation Trust group nearly 10years ago and it’s the best thing I ever did. Also I tried many other types (mindfulness) with a Buddhist centre.
Your journey of discovery has just begun and you’ll find what works for you.

Look up “The Meditation Trust” on You Tube there are testimonials and also there’s quite a lot of info.
As for the mystification, that is not my experience. There’s def info. Online. And maybe this is more related to the Transcedental Meditation. Just be mindful there are a lot of of people labelling their mediations as TM when it’s not.
