2024 Moose Run Hare & Hound Loop 1

- This was the first loop of the moose Hare & Hound. I rode pretty clean. I got stuck mentally behind a rider for almost 30 miles of the race. Need to work on riding my own pace. They changed the finish times after I already created the video. I said I finished 92 but actually it came in 74th. 2nd in my class. Enjoy

Right on. We’re riding dirt bikes having some freedom out there.
Watching is giving me some courage to start racing. I wanted too when i was growing up but never did. I need to rebuild my bike, so maby next year or the year after im definitely going to try and do some of these desert style racing.
Hell yeah. That’s great to hear. It’s a very encouraging group of people to race with. I’ve made so many friends through the desert races. Rebuild that bike and get out there this year. It’s not too late
@hardcoreenduro Well, the xr650r i got had barely been taken care of off the showroom floor and funds are tight. I really need suspension upgrades to ride at a decent pace. These bikes suck stock at a max rider weight of 180lbs and maybe look at the engine for wear n tear and maybe some upgrades.
I was in front of you when we got into the rocks on the bomb run. (At about 5:40.) I tried taking a line to the right and almost went over my handlebars.
I ended up behind you and had to pass you at 15:15.

you cn stiffen up your compression quite a bit for desert races.....if your on enduro settings
it should help the wallowing and G outs
I have more clickers room to stiffen it up the compression. I’ll try it out next time during the pre run thanks
Are you racing the VCGP this year? Saw you raced it a few years ago.
I raced the vc last year. I have the Moab hard enduro 2 weeks before so I don’t know if I’ll make it to vc this year.
