The cop you're talking about was from a dept. that went to Sig 320s but didn't buy new holsters. So run a Sig in a Glock holster you get what you get.
Great review brother! I just recently picked up the P365 Legion and can honestly say it is the best fitting hand gun that I’ve ever held. Can’t wait to get to the range with it!
Just got mine a few weeks ago, so far i love it!
Nice! Still my go-to 🤙
I have had mine for about 6 months and love everything about it . I carry it everyday and I carry it at 1 o'clock position and works really well there . Thanks for the video
That's awesome! Thanks for watching! 🤘
Love the review!!! Notices the cross eye dominance, me too. I have to make sure my support hand is under my left eye to pull the pistol over a little more.
Super useful. Thank you.
Thanks! Glad it was! Appreciate you watching! 🙏
Thanks for the review Sir. Love my Macro
Absolutely! thanks for watching! Glad your a fan of it also!
Thank you for this review
Absolutely, hopefully it was helpful
@gripitoffroad It certainly was. Looking to get the TACOPS platform soon. Your points on appendix carry and printing were very helpful
@QuintonWaddell24 I'm glad! Hoping to do more gun reviews soon
Great information.
Thanks for watching!
Great video I feel the same way. Everything you saying I understand with the one I got but I love my 365 x
Thanks! Appreciate you watching and your comment! Glad I'm not the only one with these same ideas. 🤘
Thank you for the honest review. Great video! I made a spectre comp out of my macro and p365xl with safety. Just to be safe carrying appendix.
That's an awesome idea! 👌 I'll have to check it out!
Great video man! I traded in my glock 45 for this sig. Huge difference and the grip on the sig is best I've ever had. Great EDC😃
Right! I love this carry!
Great video! The Xmacro is also my daily carry. I'm a 5'8 220lbs female & this gun has replaced my Shield plus !
Thanks! Glad to hear! It's a good one. I love mine, minus the rusty mags lol
So I have a p365 x macro as well. Irun an eclipse eagle iwb at 3-430. I wear tshirts and this holster really gets it up close to your body. So I don't print much. At home I shift it a little to 3 where I print a little. When I leave the house I shift a little to 430 just to tuck it in a little closer to me to prevent printing. Great video brother. I like pros cons and showing how you wear it standing and sitting in the truck
Thanks man! That's awesome info, appreciate you watching and the comment! 🤙
A TLR7-Sub adds some weight which helps keep recoil flatter. I used an XL slide & threaded barrel, added an actual comp, and now shoots even flatter.
Thats awesome, yeah I have had that on the list for a while. I need to just make it happen lol
Just catching your review video now. Thanks for the excellent assement & content. I have the TACOPS & am extremely happy with it. Great feel & performance. I put a couple thousand rounds through it so far with no issues. Always keep a round chambered with no concern. Use vedder holsters that encapsulate the trigger. Best to you & followers.
Thanks brother. Appreciate the comment and watching the video! Its an awesome pistol!
I'll be picking mine up in 7 days
Nice! Let me know how you like it!
Good video on the rust I always use a leather holster there are some hybrids out there that are high quality more expensive but I feel worth the money I never like how plastic holster sounded when holstering my weapons just me
Just a word on the "going off on its own" comment, there have been no actual reports of any P365 models "going off" on their own, so why start worrying about something that hasn't ever happened...? You probably don't feel that same worry when you get into your truck, but surely it's been reported to be responsible for plenty of deaths. Interesting, isn't it ? 🤔
Christv’s did
@@the_apex_predator962 So I checked out your claim, and there are quite a few issues with your statement, as well as the original claim made by "Christtv."
1) He said "as I moved my finger to touch the trigger, it goes off." That isn't "going off on its own." That's his negligence because his finger was near the trigger. We're talking about holstered weapons just firing by themselves. Not the same thing whatsoever.
2) The model he has is the X Macro, not the original P365. No one has said anything about one of those just firing themselves in a holster (without the trigger somehow being engaged, like "Christv" is unsure he may or may not have done). At least not to my knowledge.
3) To "say bye bye to Sig" because of one issue he may or may not have had is just ridiculous. It's like saying, "since my wife accidentally wrecked my truck, I'm getting a divorce and never getting married again." It's an overreaction at its highest degree. For example, I have both the Shield Plus, and the Shield Plus PC model. The Shield Plus has been flawless, but my PC model was DOA and had to be shipped out for repairs. Am I now going to ditch S&W because the one had issues ? No way. It was a fluke, and I have no doubt that they will get it straightened out.
4) You know what they say -- "if you didn't record it, it didn't happen." 😆 Seriously though, I could say that mine cooked me some eggs, but unless you see it, you can't be 100% certain it happened. 😉
In summation, I will remain skeptical that there were any such "negligent discharges" as said by "Christv", but if you want to throw your Sig away, too, then I'll gladly take your donation. 😂
@@whatwouldlewdoI like the way you think man.
Why worry? Because I don’t want to shoot my self in the pecker 😂
ChrisTV probably had a simple hang-fire.
Think about it. He pulled the trigger and the round didn’t go off.
Being a striker fired pistol the trigger would remain in the rearward position.
There’s a delay and he looks at the trigger and goes to touch it and the slow primer finally detonates.
Totally an ammo not gun issue.
This is why we’re told to point the pistol down range and wait 30 seconds when a round doesn’t go off, in case you have a slow primer.
I guess everyone forgot that lesson from “back in the day” lol.
Now everyone wants to be Timmy Tactical and immediately tap, rack, assess like they’re in the middle of a gun fight.
Good review. To mitigate the magazine rust issue, once you see bare metal apply Presto Liquid Gun Blue, wait 10 minutes, and wipe it away. Repeat as needed. As far as nut-shooting goes, add a SIG manual safety and use a Dremel to modify your grip module. Most negligent discharges occur upon holstering - so apply the safety prior to holstering, then deactivate the safety once in the holster, leave it off until you pull and fire in either range shooting or a real world self defense situation, then reapply the safety when reholstering if the pistol is still loaded. This way your pistol is always ready to fire after it's pulled... and without the additional step of recalling to deactivate the manual safety in a stress-fire situation, which anti-manual safety advocates bemoan. It's the only way I'd own a striker-fired pistol lacking a built-in trigger safety as our SIG P365s do.
well you have great advice on the gun blue - but I absolutely, positively, and unequivocally disagree with you about the manual safety. It is a free country, I have the right to make choices for myself. I would be technical and lay out all the reasons for you here in the comment, but I got to run - need to go get my testosterone shots now. I want to be a real MAN, so I end up sacrificing both my nuts for the things I believe in.
@@ArthurMorgan_5327 Glad the the gun blue "tip" was helpful. You might want to ask the doctor prescribing the testosterone shot to include an "IQ enhancing shot", since I obviously didn't claim this ISN'T a "free country". You're free to do anything with your gun you wish to, including to stick it up your ass.
4:11 Nice seeing the demonstration of you lining up as a right handed shooter but left eye dominant. Good drill demonstrations.
Thanks! Appreciate it!
Dziękuję za recenzję. Pozdrawiam z Polski.
Great video!!! I just bought the TACOPS version and took it to the gun range yesterday, great shooting experience, but I think I had the same problem with my grip being too, high and the slide not locking back on the last round. I also must have been holding it to tightly or something, because I ejected the magazine twice during shooting.
Thanks for watching! Glad it could help!
And yeah, it's a great gun but a little adjusting is needed if you are used to full sized pistol. Practice practice practice lol
Your concern about sig's going off is one reason I personally choose a thumb safety on all of my guns.
AD is always a worry. I picked up one with a manual safety. And train with releasing it during draw.
I could only get 12 rounds in by hand. Those new mag spring are strong. Speed loader helps.
Tactical development has +4 baseplate I’ll be getting for all the spare mags.
Great video. The p365 is reliable and haven't heard of any p365 going off without pulling trigger
Yeah, I haven't heard about any either. Thanks!
There was a Chris tv video where he had a negligent discharge because the trigger got stuck at the range I really want this gun tho a good alternative to my shield plus
Chris tv had his macro go off
Well, unless you're Alec baldwin
🤣🤣@@sirdingmydong2107
Very good video and review. I have the xl slide on the macro grip and to me its almost the perfect gun. I carry the og 365 with a 10 rounder and its annoying and heavy enough i dont know how you guys carry 17 rounds nonetheless appendix LOL. I carry at 4:00. I have zero worries carrying it chambered, if you know guns you know its impossible for the gun to fire on its own. Not even remotely possible unless the trigger is pulled or something mechanical breaks, and then you would know, its broken and would stay broke thats why its never been proven in court. As for latest video its obvious his gun was not holstered completely it was riding high and after it went off it was lower in the holster.
Thanks for watching! And absolutely agree! As long as the trigger is in a good holster there is no issue.
Bought mine when they came out and carried it since. Wish i got the xl style slide instead of the comp. Range time with the integrated comp is not as fun since the slide heats up so fast. Not an issue for carry but not a favorite at the range.
That's awesome feedback! Interesting it's getting so hot.
Just got my x macro Tuesday and so far got about 500 rounds thru it and I’m loving it so far. Wish I could get the 17 round mags up here in NY. Unfortunately I’m limited to 10 rounders 🙄
Dang tyrannical NY! Glad you like it. I'm still loving it too! 🤙
@@gripitoffroad I know this state is something else. Hopefully the laws change soon. But anyways what a great gun to shoot. What red dot are you running ? I was considering throwing one on there also.
@MachineGunner29 I have a cheap holosun 507 but there are better options. This one works great tho. Beat ut up and it's never broken
I bought the X macro non-comp version and that was my very first gun absolutely love the gun but it print too much for me just like what you said the corner Prince a lot so I bought the XL absolutely love that gun but then I found the Pegasus DeSantis slim-tuk holster for the macro and it is unbelievable how much better it holds the gun to your body and pulls the gun to your body where it don't print nowhere near like what kind of holster you're wearing and it's 3299 I think that's what I paid for now I threw my $134 holster in a box with the other holsters LOL
Thanks for the comment and watching! great info!
Definitely will be my next gun, just got the s&w 2.0 proformance center 10mm 5.6 barrel, also comp shot so flat as a 10mm started looking for a good comp 9 mil and this baby popped up. Not one bad review on it I can see, well that's legit. So as soon as the old lady forgets about the S&W bam hit her with a seank attack.... Sig x micro.... Whalp bam. 🤣
Hahahaha, I have been experimenting with the shadow systems mr920 and it's tough to like anything else because the 365x macro is so nice!
It's so much thinner than any other carry gun it just feels like nothing is there
I had the gun, fired 17 rounds, 3 fail to extracts. Field stripped and cleaned/oiled same thing. For a while it seems to have been fixed, I waited a week and same issue. I used 5 different ammos and over 500 rounds and every 1/20 was a fail to extract. Sent back and am getting it back relatively soon.
That's weird. I have never had a malfunction thousands of rounds through it
@gripitoffroad I still like it, but it's kinda put a bad taste in my mouth. When I get it back, I'll update this.
@@Spolt_main ... I'm interested in hearing back on your update experience. Thinking of getting one.
@Allenmar73 I sent it in for RMA. The process was easy, just called during staffed phone hours, and got an RMA number in about 15 minutes. Just got it back two days ago, and I think they replaced the entire slide because it was missing a few scuffs. I haven't shot it yet, though, because I haven't had time.
@Allenmar73 I really like it and think it's worth the gamble, but I always get unlucky with products needing to be sent in for RMA.
What wants are those. Also. How do you like the trex holster. Thinking about picking one up
Thanks for Sig !!! I stay away from it!!!!
Lol I thought when you said “aimed at my junk” I thought you said “especially when Im drunk, and especially when Im driving in the car” lololol
🤣🤣🤣
Funny how people worry about "printing"😂.
I could'nt care less about anti's feelings.
Anybody know if this model with the Compensator can be converted to use a/the manual thumb safety with the proper cut outs on the lower portion?
I have seen on other videos that the gun has rust issues does it?
“ if it wasn’t the end i would want it to be the end “ i don’t even own a gun and i agree 😂😂😂
😂
Where abouts in Texas?
I’ve built a range out at our ranch in central Texas.
How can i buy this holster?
The entire video only has right side channel for audio except for the intro and music.
Welcome to “pro audio” in 2024.
Most ppl using these little wireless mics have it set to stereo, which assigns one of the to the left, and the other to the right channel
its funny because on an empty mag, I cannot physically click on the slide release. Now if I put a mag with a round, it will slide forward but not with an empty mag. I damn near need to hammer the slide release with a hammer to get it to slide forward.
Its a safety mechanism sig has
Shot one today that was on lone and I was not impressed. Every shot was low, at 15 yards it was around 2" low, at 59 yards it was a foot low and in the dirt on lower hanging targets. It seemed to dislike HST Hp ammo and would hang up on the feed ramp every other mag. The most it ran without a hitch we around 120 rds. and that was with ball ammo. Every other mag the slide would not go all the way forward and stopped about an 8th inch from closing and would have a dead trigger. I someone who has zero interest in any firearm that won't fire 100% of the time, no matter how cool it looks or how expensive it is. So after being very impressed with the size and feel of the gun, I ended up being disappointed overall. Before I started the gun had already been fired several hundred times, so it wasn't new. I was all about buying one but not now, for me it's a pass. Sig needs to drop all the crap firearms they make and go back to the quality of the 210, 226, 228, 220, 229, 550, 551 and PE-57.
One thing you didn't mention is the dovetail. Does the dovetail bother you carrying appendix? Also, what's your height and weight? You look similar size to me so I'm just curious if the comfort you experience carrying this in appendix would roughly translate over to myself. Thinking about picking up one of these, but probably the non-comp version since I'm not sure the comped slide is worth the extra $150...
The dovetail? like the mag? It doesnt show or print too much. Pretty comfortable. I wear it all day and can barely tell its there.
6' 190
@@gripitoffroad By dovetail I'm referring to the curve near the top of the grip up near the slide that your hand presses up against and then it curves and sticks out a bit past the back of the slide. Was curious if that point of the dovetail presses into your abdomen any and is uncomfortable at all? It seems more emphasized and sticks out further than some guns like the Glock 43x for example.
Oh yeah that doesnt have any issue for me. @@ThaNathanater
I think you mean beavertail. I have never had an issue with that on appendix carry but some don't like them for other reasons.
@@cedartop1 ah yeah, you're right. I meant beavertail - wrong animal haha. Next I'll be saying "turtletail" or something ridiculous I'm sure..
You're a brave man too. Carry a sig appendix!!!
😄😄 I was waiting for this comment lol
@@gripitoffroad😂
Is yours starting to rust on the take down lever and towards back and trigger ? Like every used one I see is purplish and discolored bad even mine is changing this my second x macro love the pistol but sheesh SIG REPLACE OUR PARTS.
Lol, that's crazy. I haven't had that happen yet but man the mags are ridiculous. My 320 mags have never been oiled and never rusted. Been in way worse conditions too.
What do you use to clean and maintain your mags. Great video
Thanks and just some rags and oil. Sometimes some cleaner depending on how much rust is on there.
@@gripitoffroad I have a Sig xmacro I’ve never shot it because I’m nervous to EDC it and afraid once I shot it I’ll love it. I think I’m going to get it cerakoted to hopefully help with the rust. I want to love that gun but need to learn more about it before I will EDC. For now Glock 45. But down the Road Staccato CS.
@jclark7243 man, I carry it daily. Love it. I want to try the shadow systems though. Maybe a video coming soon on those
@@gripitoffroadI have a suspicion that the Sig finish is susceptible to some cleaners. I brush all mags in and out with some clp, dry the inside and leave a thin film outside.
Regardless, it's a shame that expensive mags become rust buckets.
@sevse23 for sure, I wouldn't doubt it. Their p320 mags do not have the same issue and they have a different finish on them. Not sure what's different but they aught to go that route in the future
Also ghg following are big Glock fans. And he’s not stupid. He was getting less views with the sigs and was getting more views with Glock content. Any person with a brain would continue to push the content that people want. He loved that macro but the views weren’t racking up.
Your audio is only in one of my ear phones man
Wear a vest it reduces the sweat..
Video starts at 2:37
Regardless of your sweat, sig dropped the ball on this gun when it comes to corrosion protection
For sure. My only complaint on this pistol.
I have 5 edc pistols, 3 have medium sweat guards also a sig p365x i live in Florida i only clean and oil them after the range all of them i rotate for edc not one of them have any rust including my p365x pistols should not rust that easily
This is good to know! thats what I thought. Sig wont replace or change out the mags unfortunately. They say its due to not cleaning. lol
None of my other mags do this, for any of my guns.
whats up with the right sided audio lol
I don't know how you can carry your gun by your jr, for me it feels uncomfortable. I like having it on my side.
Yeah most comfortable area and my quickest draw is from 12.
Are you left eye dominant
I am lol. It's really annoying tbh. Right cross eye dominant
Yeah I could tell, because I am also right handed and left eye dominant. Your right it is a pain but I just trained around it.
@@joelbeaver1093 For sure, dont notice it much anymore. Mainly messes me up when using NVGs or long range rifles.
I’m the 511th “Like” on this video 😊
Hell yeah! 💪
I’m lefty and right eye dominant…
Its sucks but makes transitions to a rifle super fast because I just drop the rifle (to the right)and draw with my left hand……
I’m super disappointed in the rust issue that everyone is reporting…
Sticking with my Glock 47 with an EPS carry and x300 until they fix that BS……
I don't understand how anyone appendix carries.. it's so uncomfortable and limiting to movement. I open carry all day. Let them know you aren't there to play games. So much more comfortable.
Appendix is by far my most comfortable spot to carry.
@@gripitoffroadI agree. I don’t like to cause too much attention. Threat will also know who to go for first.
@arnoman92 yeah, the more people don't know the better for sure. I'll wear it outside the waist if I'm hunting or on the farm or a few other scenarios but overall around town, always at 12
I feel like a threat would be less likely to be a threat if they know someone is carrying. Kinda like how most criminals go for easy targets, and for gun free zones. Criminals usually move along if there are easier targets elsewhere. Less likely to hit up a school if teachers were carrying or they had good security that's carrying at the school, etc.
@bradwjensen I agree, that in times that can help. I have had my gun help me multiple times in life because someone saw it and chose not to move forward with what they had planned. However it is also a huge issue because they can target you first. Depends and I'm more comfortable with people not knowing and being quick enough to use it if necessary
Only lazy gun owners get rusty guns I have been through more 90 percent humidity days and I can't remember and never had a gun rust on me. Keep a light coat of ballistol on it and it'll never rust
Thats not true. I oiled it daily. It still rusted. That's why I said I was a sig mag issue. My p320 mags never rust and I have never had to oil them. These mags rust if you look at them.
If you’re scared, then why carry the pistol…?
I don't think you listened the the video
🫡
Better be careful reholstering that weapon...look the gun home always...and slow it down!
Of course a guy that says 3 gen and 5 gen instead of gen 3 and gen 5 doesn't like glocks lol
Wise analysis 👌
@@gripitoffroad on a serious note, I traded my 43X for the xmacro. I'm beginning to regret that because of bad reviews and my recent experience with several failure to extracts. Time will tell if I go running back to glock.....
@tjtj3027 that's crazy. Iv never had a failure on mine yet and I shoot it more than twice a week
@@gripitoffroad yeah it's starting to worry me. We'll see. If necessary I might send it back to sig but I don't want to spend anymore money on it. It was already a pricey swap.
Blablabla didn’t really say much
Thanks for the feedback, we hope to see you in the comment section next time 💀😁
Solid review. Love the 365, but at the moment still prefer trusting my life to Glock over sig. But still probably gonna buy the tac ops version lol
Yeah. I'm a huge fan of the shadow systems versions. That'll be my next buy I hope.
Love my MR920 man@@gripitoffroad
I’ve heard about rust issues with the Macro. Just got one yesterday and I’m hoping it doesn’t happen to mine 🙏🏻🤞. Also, mine doesn’t have the built in comp on it. Wish it did but it doesn’t.
Yeah, main issue with the rust is the sweat. I wish I mentioned it in the video but a big way to mitigate this is to take the gun and mag out of the holster and whip it down at the end of the day. If I let it sit in the holster for a few days that is when it starts to rust. It just sits there with the moist conditions.
Have your sig x macro rusted yet?
@@wildwolf8983 negative
@@wildwolf8983mine has I had to send it back to sig it’s a ridiculous spending this much an they tell you we can’t tell u if we will fix it or not you’ll just get it back with a letter.
