- In this video I will be installing the Chigee AIO-05 to my BMWK1300s. I had to build a custom mount to get the screen into a position that works for me. The unit is amazing and the rear view camera function alone is worth the money as I believe it could potentially save your life.

Hi, and welcome to my channel. After 10 years of not riding a motorbike following a serious accident involving my wife, I've recently got back on 2 wheels and want to document the journey. As a professional drummer and teacher I've found over the years that I need an alternative creative outlet other than music and I have always loved both video editing creating. So why not combine the two passions Bike riding and Video creation. Who knows where this will take me. Il be posting Cinematic creations, POV riding, travel and adventure, but also learning, testing, fixing, upgrading, detailing etc.
I'll be sharing lots of dash cam footage of the crazy encounters that happen when riding a motorbike on the roads, as well as more in depth documented trips to far away places.
I hope you enjoy the content and please share with me your adventures too!

So whats your thoughts on rear view cameras?
Thanks Ritchie for this video! The device and the rear camera are in already in place on my K1300s HP. I needed to get an idea where to place the front camera. Now I know and will try it as well. 👍
No Problem! Sorry it took so long! I do think its the best solution as theres nowhere else really to put it. How are you getting on with the display position? Where did you put all the wires coming out of it?
Brilliant job
Many thanks! What bike are you riding?
Really like what you’ve done here. I’ve got the quad lock set up on the 12s and it does the job but doesn’t look good. I’ve been looking at chigee to see the reviews and it’s a bit of an outlay but you’ve made it look good. Great bike too… I’ll stick with my 12 for now until an affordable motorsport comes up. 🤪
Hey! Thank you very much! Love the 12s also! I was tempted by the Motorsports, but fell in love with it in black and this one came up at a decent price at the right time!
Yes the outlay for chigee is something to consider. Have you tried running the discount code? 20% is a decent chunk off the total.
I also ordered the controller but I don't think it's needed as the screen is super responsive so just ordering the main system is all you really need.
Nice video! More K1300s riding videos, please!
Hey! Many thanks! ok will do! One of the things that motivated me to start this series was the lack of videos around the bike. It's such an understated bike and under the radar for most riders. I'm just working on a multi mic setup so I can get a nice sound from the exhaust!
Do you ride a big K also?
I am picking one up in California in August and touring the Eastern Sierras and Gold Rush country before shipping it home to the East Coast (US). Can’t wait! A little worried about the comfort of the riding position for long distance touring, so may order the peg lowering kit from Verholen.
Wow that sounds like an amazing trip! Congrats! How tall are you?
@@RTPOV 5’11” with 32” inseam. Long legs, short torso.
@@rajitdosanjh1533 You might be ok! I'm 6ft 3".. long legs also. Ive been ok on it. At 1st I felt a little cramped, but I feel like Ive adjusted to it now. Was convinced I needed lower pegs and heli bars to make it more comfortable. I might still install them, but right now theres no issues. Longest I went on it is only 2.5 hrs though.
By the way, your K looks mint! Never ridden in the wet I would say. Lucky lad!
Many thanks! Quite the opposite! I've been riding it through winter! The previous owner did a good job at keeping it clean. Apart from under the fairings... it was quite badly corroded underneath with bad engine peel, and the paintwork was very dull and scratched from bad wash technique. I spent a month stripping and cleaning it all, repainting the engine, de-rusting the bolts and machine polishing the paint etc. I sadly never took any videos of the process because I hadn't started this Chanel yet, but do have lots of pics and can try and edit up the process if you're interested? I did document it on the Eurkclub forum with the great advice from the members there!
How are you getting on with yours?
Hi again. May I ask which panels you have to remove from the K13 to get the wiring installed please?
Of course! I removed the side and lower fairings. Also the rear, but don't think it's necessary as the rear camera wire fits through a gap there nicely
Excellent video! Great to see it installed on the K13S (I also ride a black edition, which is of course the fastest colour).
By the way, does it record video for when the occasional car driver tries to kill us? Useful to send to the Police.
Hi Mark! many thanks for the kind words and taking the time to comment!. yes I can also confirm black is the fastest colour ! 😁What silencer do you have on yours?
Also, yes the cameras begin recording as soon as you turn the ignition. Theyl even have a sentry mode which turns them on if the bike is tampered with! Files are stored on an internal memory card and can be viewed /downloaded through the phone app or by removing SD Card in putting on your computer. Hope that helps! I'll do a full real life feature test and user review soon! Ride safe! 👊
@@RTPOV Akra, essential!
Just ordered one using your code. Looks awesome!
Nice!!! Mine came with the stock can. Could afford an akra, so I got a mivv 2nd hand and it sounds naughty! Not too loud and gives nice little grumbles on the roll off
That's great news! So glad I was able help you with that decision. Which accessories did you get? How you going to mount it?
hello, what are your back hugger and wind screen? thank.
Hello! There both from a company called Power bronze 👊
