That was the prettiest body style they ever did. I know the Crossfire Fuel Injection is a love/hate relationship with Corvette fans like myself. However, the '82 is my favorite one.
I have to say I replaced the plenum silicone with the Felpro gasket and did the hypertec prom/chip. I never had a problem with the crossfire over the last 20 years with 150,000 miles
Chevy didn't want to pay the price the supplier of their manual transmission wanted(god forbid they cut into their massive profit they made on these cars since 72) so it was automatic only.
I had a nu '82 fully equipped. But, manuals were NOT available. Mine was a dark blu, glass t tops. I removed da delco radio & bose speakers. Replaced it with a blaupunkt & tri axel speakers. Wata gr8 difference. I believe dis version of C3 was da most beautiful, to d8. B4 I had a 78 Silver anniversary L-82 4spd. So, by now I considered it an🇺🇸 GT. Very luxo. Gr8 car for da times. Wish I kept it hidden in da garage.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
The only reason the crossfire is a nightmare to many is lack of knowledge , my 82 crossfire runs just fine a manometer to balance the carbs all good , it’s a point in history , though given the emissions of the day limited power , however it’s not how fast you go for me , it’s how cool you look when you arrive !! Love my 82 c3

Like the looks of the 82 ... But "muscle" it is not. And the crossfire injection Vettes are a nightmare.
Let's hear a little more positivity out of you Mr. Maniac!
Okay. Fair enough 😅@@I95Muscle

Do you still have the 1982 red corvette. If so how much. Very interested. Have cash.
This one is gone. We have a nice 76 with a 4 speed. You can see our current inventory on www.i95muscle.com
Red and automatic is the worst combo for any muscle car.
Thanks for sharing your opinion
Holy Crap those Power windows are way too fast? that's not normal for a 3rd gen vette. A guy could lose a hand?
