Why the rear looks very close like the front ? The car needed a coyota motor of about 400 JP . Even today the old body is used in drag racing . It does not need to be a led sled . The ,mustang isn't the only car ford has .

Reminds me of Car & Driver putting two engines into an early Honda CR-X.

That was one of their biggest mistakes was getting rid of the mid-size trucks. That's a super duper truck there.

Yes it’s an 86 but it’s not a d’elegance package that came in leather and they stitched “d’elegance” in the doors instead of fleetwood.

I give them credit for the swap I wanted to do a v8 swap to my 86 chevette also it's cool to see they are still around and that's cool 👍

The tangs on the hatch are for the third brake light not the rear defrost 🤦‍♂️ the wiring for the defrost comes through the hatch lift supports. That car does not have rear defrost which gives the rear window a cleaner look.
