First Tbird i ever drove was a 64. Loved it but couldn't afford it. About 6 months later I found a 67 that I could afford. 390 was a screaming engine! FE series much better than 385 series. You can fiddle with a 385 and make them scream but you're going to spend a lot more money and still not have the engine. 385 series was definitely not more efficient than the FE. They did have better emissions but they were not as efficient.

I have the Accufab throttle body for my 99 convertible!You might consider it. I had the BBK 65mm but it wasn’t as smooth as the Accufab + chrome looks cool ! I also have a 20 GT 350 , and the 99 Cobra Vert might be more fun to drive sometimes ! Really cool steering mod! I’ve never seen that one!
