I remember watching this episode with my Papa (Grandfather) when it first came on. I never saw the man laugh so hard. We both laughed our asses off. He passed away in 1998, it’s funny the little things we remember about those we love that have moved on. It still makes me laugh to this day. ❤️👍😊
My gramps just hit 70. I don’t know how long he’s got left, especially considering his obesity, but I hope he’s got enough time to make some great memories with my little cousins.
@@HragFarraGaming no, last few days this episode has spawned a meme template using scenes from this episode. Maybe ZSJL did it first but last few days it's blown up.
@@Real28 ya doesn't matter who started it, but I saw it with ZSJL memes and surprised how the meme works so well lol. You'll have Jerry saying "What's going on in there?" This is hands down the most hilarious Seinfeld episode ever! All the details, from the glaring red light penetrating the peephole, the radioactive buzzing coming from the light, Kramer and Jerry’s reactions and dialogue, are so perfect! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The shades are closed, rods and cones, load bearing walls... So many iconic lines in this one short bit. Has to be one of my favourite episodes alongside "the switch"
Love how Kramer is unwrapping the fusilli Jerry from moving paper, when he just moved from across the hall. How much protective wrapping do you need to bring it 15 feet. Kosmo is the greatest. “ That looked like milk to me”!!!! I’m in stitches laughing every time
This episode was actually the inspiration for a small horror game in Dreams where Mr. Marbles tries to kill a minor Seinfeld character who is visiting Kramer's apartment. Complete with the red light and creaking
Now in the year 2023, Elon Musk has put up a giant light up X on the top of Twitter HQ in San Francisco. Right across from an apartment building. And worse, it strobes. Life imitates art.
I love that this series was just straight comedy. It never dealt with serious issues and there were no "very special episodes". It was just a sitcom and strived to be nothing more.
After hearing complaints about the huge extra bright flashing X light Elon Musk put on Twitter headquarters that upset all the people with apartment windows across from it, I had to watch this. 😆
I remember seeing this episode as a kid when my mom was watching it and thinking it was kinda stupid bc 'no company would ever get away with that or be dumb enough to try it'. Elongated Muskrat made me eat my words. Jesus christ, at least the light the Seinfeld guy had to deal with didn't *strobe* . I really hope no one in that building was an epileptic
One of the best episodes I tell my wife there’s an episode for everyone’s life one they can relate to I tell my wife when something happens hey that’s in a Seinfeld episode!
PH!SH has a song that came out in 1985 called Harry Hood, named after the HOOD Milk brand . The HOOD Milk sign from the bottling company across the street from their apartment (King st. in Burlington, VT) was so bright & shining through their window.
We may have to drive that place outta business. How are you going to do that? Like we did in the ‘60s. Takin’ it to the streets! (gets zapped by the red light when he opens the door) 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Fuck i miss Kenny's chicken. Used to eat all the time when I was a kid. Dad would take the family to resturant or he bring it home. Good times. They used to have one on under bay parkway station. I agree with with Newman. That bird slaps
Whyyyy did I click on this video!!!...I can't eat or sleep for 23 years I'm still in withdrawal over Kenny Rogers Chicken!!!!!! LoL. Ive been searching non stop online for years! Actually, if that's roasted rotisserie chicken with minimal/no sauce, that would be fairly healthy. I mean, it would still have fat, but it's not like KFC where it's super oily and fatty.
"Can't you shut the shades?!"
"They ARE shut!"
So fucking funny.

"They are shut"
HILARIOUS
LOL! Just imagine if his shades were open.

JERRY THESE ARE LOAD BEARING WALLS! 😂
“Yeah, that’s no good!”
😂
Twitter HQ neighbors really feelin this one after Elons X sign💀
This has to be my favorite Kramer scene. Rods and cones. Load bearing walls. The exit lmaoo
Kramers exit and bend backwards like the light is a force pushing him back makes me absolutely cackle every time.

“Kramer? Yea”
“What’s going on in there?”
“We’re pondering the orb jerry”
“He was fired” lmao 😂😂
My rods and cones are all screwed up lmao
It was so funny when Kramer left Jerry's apartment and was blinded by that red light LMAO!
The reflexive bending backwards, hahahaha.

It's a genius episode
Love that they included that buzzing sound when Jerry opens the door. 😅 Funny little detail.
I love Jerry's "impersonation" of Kramer after spending the night in the red apartment was classic!
2:25-the way Kramer reacts when getting hit with the Kenny Roger's Roasters light was comedy gold, 😆.
If you look at Jerry you can see he's barely holding it together during that, lol.

Kramers home all red makes it look like he's from another dimension😂
That would explain so much of Kramer's behavior/life.
An Eldritch dimension.

This episode is brilliant all around from writing to acting to directing. So many moving parts is just hysterical. It's number 1 or 2 for me.
"Not fast food, good food quickly" 🤣
The electric humming is the most hilarious part. 😂😂😂
All the little comedic details make it brilliant. From Newman's feral growl at Kramer to Kramer's bending back like he was hit by the red light lol.
The smash close-up of kramer dumping his cereal kills me.
Along with the freeze frames, the smash cuts always kills me too haha.
I have a feeling him tripping and spilling the cereal/tomato juice all over the wall and fridge might have been improvised, hahaha.
Of course Kramer has a ventriloquist doll. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Here because of the new “X” logo illuminating San Francisco
That you can hear buzz of the sign from Kramer's apartment makes this all so much funnier.
The Peephole part always got me🤣🤣
“Like we did in the sixties. Taking it to the streets!” 2:26
Love it when jerry tries not to laugh!
He is the gambler 😂
If they made that 8 room luxury suite Kramer could really do some serious "levels". (If he wanted to.)
Mr marbles?
Lmao
2:25 - seinfeld said he still remembers this moment, as he couldnt stop laughing afterwards
3:20 - Jerry being victimized by a doll, than by Lopper (who turns out to be George's thieves) 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
When Kramer walks into the door frame and then pours tomato juice into his Rice Krispies 😂😂😂😂

Aurora borealis?!
This is one of the best episodes Kramer abd Jerry switched personalities, Kramer was the rational one and Jerry was the unstable one 👏, .
bad chicken
mess you up
2:26 is epic...
Kramer actually trying to clean his mess probably explains why he never does it.
2:52 Kramer: HEY! STAY AWAY FROM THE CHICKEN, BAD, BAD CHICKEN, MESS YOU UP
LOL!
Michael Richards hates meat and can't even stand the smell of it, THAT's how good of an actor he is
If he hates meat to the point he can't even stand the smell of it, I find it hard to believe he would consent to chowing down on it in this episode.
