- In August, Pakistan suffered the worst flood in its 75-year history. Many experts agree that the flood is related to climate change. Four months on, the country of over 200 million is still grappling with this unprecedented disaster.
As the waters slowly recede, the country is grappling with the spread of water-borne diseases. Food shortages put millions at the risk of malnutrition, while flooded farmlands have wreaked havoc on the agricultural sector.
As relief workers and aid funds are exhausted by Pakistan's flood relief efforts, the catastrophe is just one several extreme weather events this year that have been attributed to climate change. What happened in Pakistan could be a sign of things to come for the rest of the world.

Thank you, this comment section is a dumpster fire, with some people saying this is God's way of punishing sinners, or that if Pakistan's govt wasn't so corrupt they could have foreseen the floods and better prepared, and there may be partial truth in that (idk for sure b/c I'm no expert on foreign govt, but I assume every govt everywhere has some degree of corruption) but, I feel like people are focusing on the wrong part of this story; all mountainous areas are experience glacial melts, the more people that live in the flood path, the worse the disaster, but the big picture is that glaciers that have existed for thousands of years are melting! That's terrifying, and deeply saddening. I'm at a loss.
If allah could have concentrated on helping existing people rather than providing multiple kids ,this would have been avoided

Provision is from Allah. “And so many a moving creature carries not its own provision! Allah provides for it and for you. And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.“ 29:60
“And so many a moving creature carries not its own provision!” - meaning, it does not have the ability to gather its provision and save it for tomorrow. “Allah provides for it and for you.” - means, Allah allots its provision to it even though it is weak, and makes it easy for it. He sends provision to every creature in the appropriate manner, even the ants in the depths of the earth, the birds in the air and the fish in the sea. “And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.” - means, He hears all that His servants say and He knows their every movements.

My province BC is right now on fire. Two years ago we had the biggest natural disaster in Canada. Now we are burning to the ground. I find unbelievable that people do not believe in climate change? Come visit us in BC and see how Apoplectic it is.
I had to deal with a lot of people who don't "believe" in climate change. their arguments are ridiculous like "windmills are causing droughts" or even worse they think that the earth is flat. I would die laughing if the consequences wouldn't be that horrible no matter if its heat,droughts,flooding,cold or fire.

In this case the greedy are countries with a high Co2. Pakistan is suffering because of greedy western countries. Their Co2 is very low and their birth-rate is now just 3 children per mother.

Because country suffers from political instability as a result which ever party is in power, it just tries to fill it's own pockets before it's too late, pakistan is not able to deal with this floods because it was busy funding terrorist groups .
