- سیلاب نے پاکستان میں سنہ 2022 میں بڑے پیمانے پر تباہی مچائی اور حکام اس کا الزام زیادہ تر موسمیاتی تبدیلی پر ڈال رہے ہیں۔ لیکن کیا حکومت خود بھی اس کی ذمہ دار ہے، اور کتنی؟ اس سوال کا جواب ہم نے سیلاب کے ختم ہونے کے ساتھ ہی تلاش کرنا شروع کیا۔
اس کے لیے ہم نے پاکستان کے شمالی علاقوں میں تیزی سے پگھلتے ہوئے گلیشیئرز سے لے کر دریائے سندھ کے ساتھ ساتھ چلتے خیبرپختونخواہ اور پنجاب سے ہوتے ہوئے دریائے سندھ کے ڈیلٹا تک کا سفر کیا ہے۔
ڈاکومینٹری سیریز کی اس چوتھی اور آخری قسط میں ہم دریائے سندھ کے ساتھ چلتے سندھ میں داخل ہوئے ہیں۔ یہاں بھی دریا نے زیادہ تباہی نہیں کی بلکہ دریا میں سیلاب سے ٹھٹھہ میں ڈیلٹا کی آبادیاں خوش تھیں۔ تو پھر میں زیادہ تباہی کیوں ہوئی اور یہاں سیلاب کا پانی پانچ ماہ گزرنے کے بعد بھی کیوں نہیں نکل پایا۔ ہم بحیرہ عرب تک جا کر یہ بھی دیکھیں گے کہ سمندر زمین کیوں نگل رہا ہے۔

2022 floods in Pakistan cause widespread destruction and authorities kept blaming climate change for the disaster. But is the government responsible as well, and to what extend? We started looking for answers to this question as soon as the floods ended.
For this, we travelled from the rapidly melting glaciers of northern areas, along the river Indus through Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and then finally at Indus Delta in Sindh.
For the fourth and final episode of this documentary series, we have come along River Indus into Sindh. Even here the river wasn’t responsible for most destruction, in fact communities in Thatta near the delta were happy about high volumes of water in the river. Then what caused so much destruction in Sindh and why have the flood waters not flowed away even after 5 months? We will go up to Arabian Sea to find out why the sea is eating up land!

Sindhi people must think what PPP has given them except Bhutto’s slogan. Sindhi youth from middle class must come forward and put up a concrete challenge to PPP and send their sons and daughters to the legislative assemblies.

I have seen all 4 episodes of the series, though i am glad with the hard ground work, the editing needs massssssive improvement. Such a channel and no mapping,no directions indicated at all, it was difficult to keep an account of directions and understand the exact picture. BBC urdu can do better

Kacho a desert which is bordered with Balochistan province and it is located in District Dadu, which is also affected due to flood whereas Mehar, KN Shah are devasataticaly affected where flood water is still not drained out. Above stated areas were not incorporated in the story so we think that story is incomplete..
There is no place for ordinary Pakistanis in our system which serves only the influential s and the powerful.

Most affected talukas of khairpur are Mirwah and Faiz gunj ..there is no draining system in these talukas.
