@@flameknightdragon not a ton. I didn't put them right on the front lile in this video. I cut a large chunk out and set it back. Put a bitnof cuttint and shaping. Then some small amount of grean stuff to smooth gaps

Looks good, but it's not $50 good in my opinion. Especially when you have to pay for shipping on top of that. $30-35 would be more reasonable.
Just the .stl file is like £4 direct from Antonis linked on the pop goes the monkey site so if u can print yourself it's an amazing bargain
@@splergemellon1405 I'd hardly call it an amazing bargain. A good 3D printer that won't leave obvious lines on the miniature is going to cost a small fortune.

A bit of an update for everyone interested: Pop Goes The Monkey has released these sets in their new material: 'Monkey Resin', and it's $15 cheaper now :)
After 1 year,no one was able to tell me which primer exactly used to make the converted parts to look like gw's plastic :(
I love the look of the upgrade but i dont hate the standerd dreadnight i somewhat like it same goes for the invictus warsuit
What is the name of the primer that exactly looks like the original grey color of the gw miniatures?
While this looks infinitely better than the mechanized anime-baby-carrier (you all know the jokes), I still can't get to feel any love for it.
When I think about huge robot striding around the battlefield under the banners of the Astartes, I think chunky Dreadnoughts. Which are infinitely more interesting both in terms of design and lore. Even with the conversion: having a big ol' mech stomping around isn't giving me Space Marine vibes.
This is the "smooth fine detailed plastic" the site offers. You can get it in "Monkey Resin" for $35.99. Probably just requires more cleaning.
To me, monkey resin is almost as easy to clean as plastic :)

It definitely looks cool but doesn't seem to fit the Dreadknight as its supposed to be more if a carriage that a Terminator gets in.
This looks more like a dreadnaught.
Maybe a Custodes one but certainly not a Space Marine. Personally I can't stand having Space Marines in open cockpit walkers, but this design could be improved.
Now it just looks like an Imperial Knight. Does the pilot sit inside the chest in a little cockpit?

What I don't understand is why GW doesn't get ahead o the game here and licence all their models in 3d version and sell them.....? I understand that some people will be against this because "it's not how I started playing" but if it gets more people involved in the hobby, game, and/or lore, who cares? At least it will help GW make more money to help grow the company. Like you said, this is where the hobby might go in the near future. It would also be nice to not have to pay $100 for a little bit of plastic.......
