Colchester Castle parkrun [] The Most Historic parkrun in the World []

Last weekend we travelled down to Essex to run the Colchester Castle parkrun for the second time, the previous time being back in 2013. There is not a parkrun anywhere else which runs through such layers of history. Find out why this is one that should be on every park runner's bucket list to do.

Another great video. My original home Parkrun -St Albans also features a Roman Wall as well as a Hypocaust and mosaic. You should schedule a trip there.

Great video as ever. I need to break my Essex duck. My only visits were in the past due to football matches and was pre parkrun. May suggest a week away down there next year for a holiday and get one in then 👍

We've really enjoyed Maldon Prom, Clacton and Colchester Castle in particular.
