Hi bald bro :) im not as deep in Eluveitie (just found them threw Randy Blythe feature on "Warship") as you are, but im enjoying them a lot and im happy I still have a rabbit hole to fall into. Thanks for youre content!!!!
Have you heard of Landmvrks? The breakdown of theire song "Lost in a wave" has been in a "try to not headbang" challenge. If not, they could be youre next rabbit hole, if you have been asking youreselfe, how Linkin Park would have sonded, if they had chosen to follow the metal over theire hiphop/pop route.
I dont expect a reaction, just want to returne the rabbit hole favour.

Fabienne the female lead is quite talented, should be as famous as some of the better known European female leads. Their instrumentals are always rock solid. On the latest album they as affirmed their commitment to metal colored by folk and Celtic tradition. I truly love their sound. Don't worry about the reduced schedule, mot reactors don't post that much anyways. Great reaction!

I am in a similar boat with Eluveitie I think. I came in with Inis Mona (from their second album, Slania, in 2008), and loved pretty much everything heavy or folk, until about the time the parted ways with Anna (Origins was her last album).
I think my turn off though wasn't even the new music (Epona was good for instance), but that I didn't click with Fabienne singing Anna's parts. Fabienne is a great singer, technically better than Anna, but Anna had such a unique delivery that when I hear Call of the Mountains or A Rose for Epona by Fabienna, it just doesn't sound right. That said, when she is doing the stuff from their two latest albums, it really works.
But I will admit Eluveitie, Sabaton, and a few others have felt a bit like they are just recycling too much, at times, and thus I'm just not as invested. Same reason I just kind of don't care about post Seasons era Slayer.
