I saw them live for a first time in 2009, when they were warming up Kreator. ELUVEITIE were not well known, and with my friends we instantly agreed that we have something bigger than the headliners here.

I still remember randomly finding their album 'Origins' on the shelf at Best Buy. I'd never heard of the band, but the name stuck out and after a quick google I saw they were Folk Metal. So I took a chance and bought the CD. It's still one of my top 5 albums, and I will forever be excited when they put out new music.
I listen to Eluveitie since their first album and I´m so happy that they became really famous. Still one of my favorite bands and every new release was astonishing.

From what I've seen there's also a hurdy-gurdy (the thing with strings and a turning handle), a mandola or mandolin, harp, and bag pipes or another chanter type instrument.
