    Hi, I am the owner of a Duke 390 in Japan.
    I always use a suction cup to pull out the oil filter. I recommend it because it is easy and fast to remove.

    There is quick shifter for this bike but it's a software update from the dealership. I had mind done when I purchased it. Works awesome so far.

      It's not just software. The physical magnetic sensor is missing as well

      It dosnt have a magnetic sensor on the shift lever like youre used to for aftermarket quickshifters. It uses an internal sensor. You should be able to buy it at a ktm dealer. I think its like 260 ish

    Great 👍 vid man, thank you. I was just at the dealer today and they told me it's a half hour to reset the service light and you need to be hooked up to a special computer ahahahaha !

    Hi I done the stock exhaust mod but I took the pop rivets out of the end cap then removed the silencer and put the end cap back on worked great

      Is the silencer just slides out after you removed the end cap or you need to drill it out as well?

    Not really necessary, but having a measuring jar really helps getting right amount of oil in

    Hey man is there any way you could post a video of you riding it with the exhaust change so we can hear the sound of it while riding? I have the same bike and am interested in the changes you’ve made to the exhaust. Also great videos I love the way you explain every step.

    Wow! I was wondering what all the filters were for with the oil change kit. Well now I know. I let the dealer do my first maintenance. Next one I plan to do myself for sure.

      @@SeanFillner just did it myself, honestly, yeah really easy and accessible for oil change maintenance. Only need to remove lower right fairing and that's it. The plastic on exhaust was needed as well.

    Did u got any buzz sound from this bike?Mine got front window buzz,very loud when it working in 4000 RPM.(still solving it by trying take off the lights, just got the bike 1 week)

    Just picked up a 22 RC390 and I can confirm quickshifter+ is a software update only by dealership. No parts required

    The quick shifter menu enables once u turn on kill switch , otherwise i guess u didnt buy the quick shifter variant…all the export models have optional quick shifter package…whereas, all the indian models have quick shifter by default

    How much Liters did you add to the bike ? Coz I added 2 liters I still get the oil on the lower marker

    i recently purchased the same 2022 ktm rc390 and the quickshifter+ is not yet immediately installed. go back to the dealership and ask about it and they will install it after the first service. they immediately installed mine when i asked about it.

      The only time this bike will ever see the dealership again is for a warranty issue.

    Which Engine Oil you recommend for KTM Duke 390 apart from Motorex bcoz it isn't available in our country and which one you pick Amsoil Metric 15w50, Motul 300V or 7100 or Putoline Ester Tech 15w50...Thanks😊

    Is it just me, or is having 3 oil filters a little excessive? I mean these engines rarely make it over 50,0000 miles before a rebuild… Why are other bikes (I ride Kawasaki) fine just having one?

      The 373 ktm motor has been around about 15 years now. Maybe they learned a thing or 2 in those 15 years.

    My dealer is telling me that I should put in 10 W 50 oil instead of 15 W 50

    Doesn't work on a 2022 adventure! Should be the same for service light reset..i definitely don't want to go to the dealership 😢

    Not sure how you put that plastic on the header if the engine was up to temp before the oil change and it didn't melt? 🤔 BTW this is what aluminum foil was made for...

    If you have read your owners manual, you would know exactly how much oil to put in it.

    This video is terrible. Awful camera angles. Not giving correct information (it is a 18 or a 19mm?). Also the bike on the sidestand would help draining the oil. The oil strainers are perfectly reusable, they usually don't break, but you waste your money wherever you see fit
