How will you rate Ahsoka Episode 6?
Honestly wasn’t a fan of the music that was played when thrawn entered…I felt like the organs didn’t go well. I felt like it needs more horns and violin. I feel like the episode could have been better in terms of the music aspect.
I really liked the moment where the Chimera showed up. Such a majestic ship, even after all that wear and tear.
I also liked the stormtroopers but I must agree that the musical score was a bit lacking regarding the "mysterious mastermind" vibes we had before.
@@Project_Ostrako agreed! Tbh my favorite parts are when the eye arrived and when thrawns ship arrived, but it didn’t have the vibes like the “mysterious mastermind” that Thrawn is!
@@matthewk8379 I didn't mind it, but i felt it would've been better if they had used more of Thrawns actual theme. Yeah there were hints of it throughout, and i still got chills, but man use the full power of that incredible organ!

The fact that they brought back Lars Mikkelsen to play Thrawn for live-action was one of the greatest decisions for this show.

It truly was, knowing that it was Disney, I didn't think they would have the sense or the balls to do so

Welcome back, Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Thrawn represents more than just a symbol of the Empire. He is in many ways the heart of Legends and a sizable portion of the actual SW fanbase. This is the man who single handedly made people love legends.
He is in Legends and Cannon "Heir to the Empire."
In real life he is the true Heir of the Star Wars fanbase. Not Rey, Not the Sequel, not Mandalorian, Ashoka, Andor, or anything else.

Then I realized it's been atleast 10 years... and Thrawn has managed to keep that many troops alive through his leadership, his cunning, and his intelligence.

@@johnbeniedictsantos4763 Undead theory has been proven false as of last episode with some of them dying. This is now likely the other theory in which this is more Caesar inspired, where his troops are more loyal to him then the actual Empire.
And they botched it by making him look incompetent and getting his people killed for no reason, as well as not taking his own advice. "The Jedi are not to be underestimated." (sends single tie fighter to kill ashoka)

They had to give Zeb a big moment tho so the writers had him kill Ruhk. Since Ruhk fell down the reactor shaft and it exploded there is no way to resurrect him.

@@gryphonbotha1880 Only logical way that would happen is if Thrawn had objects on the Chimera that had Ruhk's DNA. From that the Great Mothers could use Dark Magic to ressurect him.

I was just memeing the sequels. Although it makes me sad that Rukh won't be the one to kill Thrawn (as per legends), it's better if he stays dead in canon.

This man is gonna be a problem! A major problem if the comics and tv shows are something to go by.
Thrawn’s got a lot more going for him this time.
1- Unless the Great Mothers and Morgan Elsbeth are hiding their true intentions well, they seem to be reliably loyal to Thrawn thus far. (Which is a vast improvement compared to the erratic Joruus C’baoth from Legends)
2- The bodyguard who assassinated Thrawn in Legends is already dead in this continuity. Perhaps Enoch will turn out to be more reliable than Rukh?
Thrawn is not a problem, but a solution.
@@topnotchshinobi Here are some issues which Thrawn himself realized.
1. Ahsoka was not in the original Heir to the Empire trilogy. Thrawn must have been thorough in his research of Anakin Skywalker because he recognizes Ahsoka as a threat.
2. No Baylan Skoll either. Thrawn knows Baylan is merely a paid Enforcer of Morgan's and doesn't care for Thrawn's plan. So Thrawn is very cautious about him.
Even more so because Baylan has an apprentice unlike Joruus.
3. Ezra is also a new character with Jedi abilities.
4. Unified Mandalore which Thrawn might not know about. Thrawn benefited greatly from a divided Mandalore during Star Wars Rebels. He also benefited from a divided Mandalore in Legends continuity. That will not be the case in canon continuity.
And old books he is just a frightening genius enemy (the genius and the ability to understand other and not overestimating him self and his troops is what makes him dangerous)
@@RenaldyCalixte Thrawn was one of the few in the Empire who had met Anakin Skywalker before he fell and deduced that he and Darth Vader were the same person.
We now know that he has an army at his disposal that MAY be undead Nightsister Witches and at least has the Great Mothers to counter the existing Jedi the Republic can call upon.
And Ashoka and Sabine are stranded in another galaxy for the time being.
At least some of the Empire's Shadow Council are willing to work with him, so he'll probably have access to whatever the Remnant call still call upon and Pellaeon at least will bring any of his resources to support him.

Oh man so many chills! I love how we have hints of his Rebels theme too. I’ve been waitingng uears for this and now we finally have Thrawn in live action! Can I give this episode like a 12? I can’t wait for next week! And this theme is amazing and epic as always. P

This soundtrack feels so right for the Thrawn that we have known but also the current, older Thrawn! Lars did an incredible job! He may be older, but he's just as terrifyingly cunning and intelligent, with a newer layer of concealed desperation. In the end, he of course got his way, and he did it spectacularly. Welcome back Grand Admiral! All Hail the Heir to the Empire!
This was such a long time coming. And was delivered so well.
Imagine a world where the sequel trilogy didn't exist and at the end of Ahsoka Episode 8 it said something like "Star Wars Episode 7 coming December 2024"
Thrawn would've been 10x better than the First Order. Despite the First Order having some cool ideas and vehicle designs they are just a slightly more advanced version of the Empire often recycling vehicles and making some marginal improvements to them. Like the Atst and Atat (yes there were atats at crait). Thrawn would have been great as a final send-off to the Empire. He is essentially their last stand. Battle of endor marked the start, Jakku is where what was left of them were destroyed. And Thrawn would be their one chance of gaining back control. They could even keep concepts like Starkiller base as it was once an imperial project thanks to jedi fallen order showing its early construction.
The man sure knows how to make an entrance.
Thrawn is the leader that most men would willingly follow into battle without question. His coming was foretold long ago. Not even the sequels could prevent his coming.
Now all will tremble at the man who is a legend brought to life to bring about a new age. May all that opposes him fall. Those that seeks a return to things long past crushed, or to a future that no one desires driven into shadow and forgotten, all will fall to the man that will bring stability to the new empire.

Bro this show is one of not only Star Wars but of sci-fi itself one of the greatest I’ve ever seen , I was so scared it was going to be like Kenobi but it’s just don’t so well it makes me stim so fucking hard
When I first started to watch the Ahsoka show on Disney+, it seemed pretty obvious that Thrawn would eventually appear. But then Thrawn finally appears as he starts walking down the rows of Stormtroopers, who are all cheering his name. The music swells as his theme plays, giving you chills and just the music alone shows you how evil he can be if you let him. I can't stop listening to this!
why they didnt play this one for him (i'm not saying the one in Ep.6 is bad.), but this one sounds SO AWSOME!!!!!!!!! i love it!!!!
They use some of it at the very end of the episode. They used it in more subtle ways throughout though
They did. The whole point is that it was subtle because he hasn’t returned yet. He’s still stranded and hasn’t escaped with the gifts from the Great Mothers

They didn't really use his organ theme, which really disappointed me. Hopefully we'll see more of that in the future
This theme feels like an epic journey that allows you to witness his story from beginning to tragic end.

A perfect depiction of where Thrawn’s true loyalties lies with and where his humble beginnings first started.
