What do you think of the new Reign E+?
I've never been a fan of the current Giant models. The symmetry of their design language just puts me off. But with this new Giant Reign E+, Giant have really gone to town with the design. This is a very good looking bike. More symmetrical than their current offerings. I love it.

Really like the the new controls and looks like the new battery compartment will address some issue. Now if they would just redo the controls on my 2020 Stance e2 to rap around the handle bars like that. Giant makes some pretty good stuff and looks like they're Stepping it up again real like that it's not carbon

That is one very beautiful looking eMTB. Giant make some of the best handling bikes on the market. Let's hope they have piled all that experience into this new Reign E+. It's gonna be a winner.

Nice to see EMBN finally getting back to producing some decent content. This looks like a great bike and is high up on my list so I appreciate the overview. Only downside for me is the mullet set-up but I totally get why they went down that route and it is good to get some insights on the development to back up that its not just a style choice. I could live with it. I would love to see a true grouptest where all the equivalent MY22 bikes were tested and rated using some real objective testing just like the MTB mags do.
Is everybody as mean to you as you are to them? That is a super-backhanded "compliment" (ie derision pretending it's not).

I just picked up one of the black ones E2+ .
I haven't ridden it yet but I was surprised my XL came with a 60mm stem. It has the 620wH battery with a nice Zeb out front. It will be my second Emtb and my first one with full suspension. Avalibity and price/spec was why I chose it over other Emtbs and Mtb's. I can't wait to see how it rides!
Hi Ryan, with any bike we would suggest customising/personalising the cockpit setup to suit your personal requirements. We think it's best to do this after the first couple of rides. Here is a video that may help 👉 embn.me/ECockpit - Your local bike shop can also help advise you on this

Soy un poco escéptico sobre el peso. 25,1kg talla L. Sin pedales. El Simplon Rapcon PMAX que rompí este año (cuadro de muy baja calidad) pesaba 23,5 kg. Veremos como cabalga. Soy un tipo fuerte, así que saltar "bunny hops" no debería ser un problema :).

how is it when you hit max speed? does the motor just stop working or does it still support?
Definitely looks nicer than their previous bikes.
Very keen to know how their new motor compares to a Bosch or Shimano EP8 now that this custom Yamaha iteration matches them on torque.

Are you still riding the 2022 reign e+0? How do you like it? Do you know whether there are some important differences between the 2022 and later reign e+ bikes? I know the later models come with 800Wh battery. But other than that, any updates that are worth considering the much more expensive 2023 or 2024 models? Thanks!
When will we know the price of these .? This is the first bike that im actually really keen on getting price depending, that stealth cockpit is on point 👌
Magnesium alloy frames are coming back, and the new alloys now in use don't catch fire. Similar weight to carbon fiber, but much lower cost. Giant might be very interested to know about that.
I like the display but as another vid suggested, it would be good if the battery indicators change white to red after 10% is drained... That way you have 10% increments not 20%...
where do I see the speed?
And can the Yamaha Motor be set to US mode (32kph) like the EP8?
Having read through some german forums I‘ve learned that the motor is not as good and powerful as promoted. In practice it shows that it is not as powerful and fast especially on steep climb sections using the automatic or power mode than the Bosch CX, Brose or the Shimano EP8. Some people assume that might be an software problem. Any experiences or knowledge about this?

I live in US and Giant still saying nothing about distro in States . Maybe getting 2 & 3 but might be 2 to 6 month ? Come on Giant !
I just purchased the trance x e and put a fox 36 factory on, now this bike comes out! smh
Trance is a different bike with old motor, I have one for me and my son. Being told the 1 is not going to be available in USA. Still not even able to preorder the 2 or 3 yet. Wish we where getting bigger battery.

It’s 7 grand mate, I was thinking of getting one then I gave my head a shake and it said don’t be foolish buy a ktm motorX bike instead and save £4000 grand ..?? No brainer
have the 2022 model and water and mud gets under the battery cover as well the motor covers. Around the battery it is constantly wet. the contacts under the plastic covers of the motor are covered in mud. I keep my bike clean and wash it after almost every ride. Use no high pressure, just a normal hose but I think it is not a good design here. My bike has still warranty so I don't worry too much but I don't like it
