I almost cried when you were driving away from Sherry and Malin's house but I agree with you...I would keep exploring also. It would seem difficult to go back and visit family as often as you wanted, although I imagine it's not easy now. Maybe retire in Boquete?? That's a ways off for you guys I think though.

Allie-your bread looks wonderful, mon congrats! I have a goat friend who lives at a nearby farm and we love her so much! That honey farm was the "bees knees" and Boquete has been on our list of places to emigrate to because the climate is perfect and Panama is an easier transition.We can't take the Winters.We're 60 and want to get a RV, ship our furniture down there and then buy or build a small home.The home may be years away but in a year we have to move from where we live anyway.I'm no stranger to living abroad-did it for 25 years but got tired of Hurricanes.Happy Trails Amigas, much love to Frank.

That is a bucket full of mixed emotions that refuse to be sorted out!!
