"Every Chieftain must make hard choices for the good of the clan." I love this storyline for the simple fact that it makes you wonder who made the harder choice. Kilrogg in killing his own father, or his father... knowing that his own son would end him, but choosing to let it happen.
This vid shows that the ritual only shows the vision of their death which may not be clear. If you watch closely the father is surprised of his death, it probably means he saw himself being assasinated close up, but not by whom. So it is likely he never knew his son would be the killer. Such as killrog sees himself being killed in a battle of two armies, he may not know what horde and alliance are and so he'll walk to his death. Perhaps this is the quirk of the vision, it shows you the manner of our death ion misty clues, but not a clear-cut comprehensive prediction.

It's interesting how Kilrogg's story is similar to a Norse myth. See, Odin was becoming paranoid in Asgard, so he left for Mimisbrunnr, a sacred well in one of the roots of Yggdrasil, to drink from it's mystic waters. Mimir guarded the well alongside the Norns, for one can only drink from the waters if he sacrifices something... Mimir demanded Odin's eye, and so Odin drank from the well and saw Ragnarok: the doom of the gods! And that's how he chained Fenrir, banished Hel, bound Jormungand to Midgard, punished Loki and his warg sons: Skoll and Hatinto chase the (Sol) sun and (Mani) moon forever until Ragnarok... where everyone dies except a select few (Thor's two sons, Vidarr, Baldr, and some Vanir)

Things that would make us think "WoW feels cooler than ever." And then I might not always have to think that my PC is overkill for WoW.

OH that fucking laugh is beautiful, that laugh of like zero fear in the face of death. In my honest opinion, WoW lore wise has the best orcs hands down.
From what I can tell from this I can tell Kilrogg will be a very important character in WoW lore; I'll put anything on it. The association with the Arakkoa (who tried to summon an Old God to Outland all the way back in BC) and this Arthas-like video just solidifies for me the importance of the Dead Eye and Kilrogg.
Getting pretty sick of people whining about the fact that WoD is too orc based/horde based. It's called story progression... how can the story progress if both sides are perfectly even? How about you stop complaining that the other faction has it better and just enjoy the lore. Sincerly, an Alliance player.
Totally agree with you. In fact, I don't think it favors either side really. The story might be more about orcs, but even for the Horde (as a Horde player myself) we have to kill these legendary characters even though I personally don't want to. In fact this story in WoD will strengthen the Alliance even more, and possibly the Horde post-Garrosh when Horde led by Vol'jin learns about their past.
heelFLiP249 It is the same horde that went through the portal the first time, just from a different timeline. The whole thing is silly really, our horde will be killing their parents.

Which is not a bad thing. Carbine didn't spend much on advertisement and they ended up with a small initial audience simply because not much ppl know their game exists
VKGchaos you know there are separate division in a company, right ? like the one that are making these cinematics are not same as the one who are designing the game.
The amazing part of this video is that if you pause the video at 4:38 you will notice flags from the horde and the alliance around him. I think that means that we are the ones that will kill him in a combined effort.
Interesting, I actually didn't think Kilrogg was going to be part of the Lords of War mini series. Wasn't it suppose to be only a 5 part series? Figured it would have covered Grom, Durotan, Kargath, Blackhand and Ner'Zhul ( or Gul'dan despite him being a captive, he has major importance in Warcraft)
I am certainly happy about this story. Kilrogg has a little more depth than the average orc. Out of desperation, he kills his father to take the Bleeding Hollow Clan under his wing, but he was troubled to make this hard choice.
Judging from the weapons they seem to all use, I doubt they had very advanced metalsmithing. Probably why Garrosh is able to wield such influence in WoD. Because he brings technology like advanced smithing and siege engineering.
I love the fact that his father had no hate or anger towards kilrogg, he was happy, knowing his clan would no longer be afraid or weak. gotta love that kind of leader.

Wasn't it because originally Kilrogg sacrificed his eye to the demons for Magical powers or something?
Yolo Swaggendoodle He was missing an eye before he drank the blood with the others. He was also elderly by the time they drank the blood.
What are you doing, my son?
Succeeding you, father.
best one by far, probably. didnt get this many chills since the WoD cinematic
Horde and Alliance banners during the death vision. @ 4:28
he got his throat cut by Danath Trollbane.
That would be us, the players, killing him. Guess we are going to team up again.
What i am really waiting for !!!! Amazing series .
this is fucking amazing kilrogg is such a badass
for the true horde!!!
To the hell with Voljin, FOR THE IRON HORDE!
Veeti Raussi
hey!!!1 Voljin is a respected Warchief! He followed thrall, and I will follow Voljin :3
Bah, he was ok back in the day of Cata, now hes just like our green jesus Thrall. I want true, IRON horde to vanguish the alliance and petty troll horde. And i want Zuljin back. Hes one troll to follow. He will bring the Horde to glory! Rejoice with AMANI!! Burn the blood elves, they were not in Horde in the first invasion!!! For the Dark Horde, Twilights Hammer, Syndicate, the 7th Legion, Scarlet Crusade, Yogg-Saron, AND THE LK!!!! (And for Gilneas Liberation Front too, awesome guys)
there is no horde / alliance now. theres only alliance 1 and alliance 2 . lmao
These trailers are simply amazing.
These excite me more than the actual expansion.
The sad thing is they probably put more effort into the cinematics for advertisement, than the actual game itself.
Which is not a bad thing. Carbine didn't spend much on advertisement and they ended up with a small initial audience simply because not much ppl know their game exists
VKGchaos you know there are separate division in a company, right ? like the one that are making these cinematics are not same as the one who are designing the game.
Same here. These are awesome. Sadly, the expac still, at the end of the day, is just some alternate reality/past draenor BS.
The amazing part of this video is that if you pause the video at 4:38 you will notice flags from the horde and the alliance around him. I think that means that we are the ones that will kill him in a combined effort.
I could've quessed that before even watching the video as we take down the Iron Horde.
*loregasm intensifies*
I love this series.
Thank you, Blizzard.
Why would you give up depth perception for spoilers?
dayum, ok kilrogg, you're on my list of most interesting characters so far.
are they going to make more of these?
I believe they got one or two more to go.
They have at Black Rock and Shadowmoon left I think.
Matthew Urban Stormreaver Gul'dan, Blackrock Blackhand, and Shadowmoon for Ner'Zhul.
thanks
There should be 3 more to come.
I really like the little hint they put in at 4:30 of his death.
What "little hint" what?! What are you talking about here?
I can't wait for Blackhand!
Damn straight!
best episode ever kilrogg is amazingly awesome
Interesting, I actually didn't think Kilrogg was going to be part of the Lords of War mini series. Wasn't it suppose to be only a 5 part series? Figured it would have covered Grom, Durotan, Kargath, Blackhand and Ner'Zhul ( or Gul'dan despite him being a captive, he has major importance in Warcraft)
Can't get enough of these!
Reppin my man Kilrogg by playing on the server every day.
Killrogg and Kargath are still my favorite so far of this series,
FOR THE HORDEEEE !!! KILROGG WE ARE WITH YOU
Your crazy... Kilrogg will be an enemy, not a part of the horde.
There is only one way to work with Kilrogg.
*hands over a dagger*
Devon Brown Dagger poked an eye.
FOR THE BLEEDING HOLLOW !
Ali Alslaman Your suppose to pluck the eye out. :c
Devon Brown ops...
(pluck what leftover)
This count right ?
I'm loving this voice acting.
These videos are soo fucking awesome!
These just get better and better.
1:21 untill what came?????? MIARACCOA?????? somebody tell me what he said
Arakoa
I am certainly happy about this story. Kilrogg has a little more depth than the average orc. Out of desperation, he kills his father to take the Bleeding Hollow Clan under his wing, but he was troubled to make this hard choice.
Fav warlord
Love this series so much!
These orc aren't very fond of armor, are they?
LVL 125's do not need armor :P
Judging from the weapons they seem to all use, I doubt they had very advanced metalsmithing. Probably why Garrosh is able to wield such influence in WoD. Because he brings technology like advanced smithing and siege engineering.
This one makes me shiver every time.
what's so scary about the arrokoa?
Keith Downey Bird flu.
+Yoseph Rezahe shut....up.......I'm....not scared of.....shut up.... (Cries self to sleep)
They take your jobs
I am so hyped for draenor,I can't wait anymore! This will be amazing....
This is so crazy because his father knew he was gonna get killed by his own son everyday, and waited for it..
he welcomed it :)
I think he was enlightened by it, if he wasn't an orc I would of imagined an I love you or something... :)
These are so awesome! Please keep them coming.
