Could not agree more. We need Boris' optimism and belief in this country. So he thought about sending in the troops to get OUR vaccines out from the clutches of the EU, who had a woeful start to vaccinations, well that's the type of PM I want.
@@barneymagee3285 No I am not. Covid derailed his plan for levelling up. As for Covid it wasn't his fault we were not prepared. Cameron in 2014 ordered a report on our preparedness to fight a pandemic and the findings were woeful and Jeremy Hunt (Health Sec) did not implement ANY of the reports findings. It must have been a very sobering moment when Chris Whitty, who revealed in the Covid enquiry, told Boris we could have 500,000 deaths and the NHS would grind to a halt and burials would be in communal graves. Faced with that statement would you have ignored the advice of the experts and what would have been the consequences for him if he had and those prophecies came true.
Get a grip podcast commentators, Richard Fuller is totally competent and on the mark with his Boris comment and Boris should have cleaned up his act. The tories should keep Fuller to steer them back into power.
Now, now - Theresa May has explained to the party that they have to move to the 'centre' to get back the Seats lost to the LibDems, you know the 3.5m votes and not the 4.m voted Rreform and the 3m previous Tory voters who did not vote at all!!!
Boris was handed a huge amount of crap when he took power. I don't care what anyone says he did as good a job as anyone could have. When he said he would do something he tried his damnedest to do it. He was no saint but I agree with chopper and I have always believed it was a BIG mistake to get rid of BORIS.
@@wundurra24 Nope, just gone through the list of left verse right wing policies, and the Tories fall more on the left than the right, they ditched the most important right wing policies.
Removing Boris was the beginning of the end for he Torys. I voted for Boris, and he wasn't given the opportunity to govern because of Covid. Conservative Party are finished. Im now a Reformer.
Now statements like that are exactly why the Tories shouldn't be anywhere near power for years..
Zero 0️⃣ lessons learned give it a few years no more Tory party 🥳
The big mistake was making him prime minister.
Boris nixxed the Ukraine-Russia Peace Treaty, do not forget.

The faxine injured might disagree.
They had the choice, but wanted a holiday, so other countries made them do it. I didn't have it, and I'm immune suppressed.
You know the choices are bad when hindsight comments like this surface.
