I find the obsession with charities to be rather puzzling. Though many serve an important purpose within society they are not the role of MP’s. The purpose of an MP is surely to set up and manage a legal framework within which people are safe, can prosper and lead happy lives. It is most certainly not to be a parent acting as parents to the nation. This is the reason why people have become disillusioned with politicians - too much interference with our lives. Why the hell is she going on about babies for - that is a parents job. She is the problem. She should be a charity worker not an MP. Free school meals, sheltering and housing migrants at the expense of UK people - we are not a charity.

Andrea Leadsom was impressive as ever, but the host was very disappointing. Andrea is close to Penny Mordaunt, currently the next Tory leadership favourite and the one who polls better than Sunak, and ran her campaign for her last time out. This was surely the perfect opportunity to ask her if she felt Penny would be a great future leader, and subtly probe her on Mordaunt's current ambitions. Instead she was encouraged by the host to give the loyal party line, and did so. That's poor interviewing and to me smacks of the host's own views on the matter intruding.
