In a case like this the issue is the mandible is too short. You need to bring the mandible forward to match it. Lets give an example. Lets say you have two eyes one has big eyesight problems (-6 diopters) and you need glasses. The other one is fine. What is the solution; either a) give them glasses or contacts with +6 diopters to treat the eye that has problems and bring it to back to normal eyesight b) give them glasses that bring the healthy eye down to -6 diopters so you have both eyes same diopter (even though now both are bad). Everyone with common sense would say a) but that’s the issue here. Our mouth is made by nature to fit in 32 teeth. If something is too small to house them or has bad occlusion. You fix the weak part. Not weaken the strong part so both are bad.
I have overbite with crowded teeth just got 4 extractions it was painful but u get used to it with time it’s been a week and I can’t wait for final results
Can I still get this done for protruding lips??because I think if it changes my bones structure it would rather push back my lips to make a more European side profile

@@arsvitae.information I don't know your real condition (picture of your teeth etc), but you may have protuded or maybe wrong relation between your teeth, removing posterior (back side) tooth to provide space is not the same with the space from the missing (front) anterior teeth, it's about where the direction of your teeth should move and your teeth relation between upper Jawa and lower jaw...dentist Will replace your missing teeth maybe..just ask them

I did the exact same thing but I extracted the bottom too, now moving the second molar to replace the 6 year molars, and waiting the wisdom to erupt and take place of the second molar.

having an underbite or overbite is good, u just need to mew to balance out the side that isn't as developed and u will have balanced forward growth instead of getting ur teeth removed

I got two teeth extracted and now my bands that go on my bracket is expanded which only hurt more like shit because its pulling my teeth together
