i've been using an x-t30 ii for all kinds of different photography over the last few years. i have the 27mm pancake for it, but i think my favorite lens for it is the viltrox 23mm 1.4. hard to fit in my tiny camera bag sometimes but it works out. i also have one of those metal bracket/hand grip attachments on it that makes it a little nicer to hold because of the lack of a large grip on the body.

Hey! That is awesome to hear. I will have to check out the 23mm 1.4 - I have been trying to research what my next lens will be. I have been super happy so far (but maybe you can relate), I am always looking for new tech/gear to try out.

I chose to buy this camera over the x100v mainly because of the interchangeable lens. My Canon 90d was just to big to take out everyday and therefore just used my phone. I picked it up with the kit 18-55. Now have a variety of lenses but the most used is the 27mm TTartisan and the Fujifilm 35mm f2. Amazing little camera ! So nice to be shooting JPEG again with maybe just a couple of tweaks in lightroom.

I completely agree! I absolutely love this camera. You hit the nail on the head - super nice to shoot JPEG and be happy with it or make some minor changes in LR. TTArtisan actually reached out to see if I wanted to test out a few more lenses for this camera. I may take them up on it! So far I like the pancake lens I have from them.

I did exactly the same! I am heavily invested in the Sony ecosystem but it became too much of a hassle to carry everywhere. So I bought Fujifilm X-T30 ii and the 27mm f/2.8, it's been the perfect set-up so far! Especially with the Fujifilm recipes, it's a breeze to shoot and not worry about editing ❤

    Hi David
I have been Nikon d750 user for last 8years. Thinking to get a Fuji as Nikon is bulkier.
I used Fuji xt4 by purchasing second hand , as it was heavily used sold it with 200usd profit 😂.
    Now I am thinking about Fuji xt30ii, xt5, xh2
I bought a 23mm Fuji f2 lens during my Vietnam trip.
My main goal is to take awesome pics at lightweight setup.
    Please share some thoughts.

So sorry for the delay! I agree, my Fuji has been really taking the place of my full frame camera (especially while traveling). Fuji has recently released a new smaller camera with film sim I believe! However I am still really happy with my XT30II with a pancake lens. It is so handy!

Hi, do you recommend this camera for starting in Photography as a hobby and work? I'm obsessed on the camera's aesthetic and simulations. And what lenses do you recommend?

Hey! So sorry for the delay, I have been traveling for work and just getting back home.
So this is a great question! So my main camera is a Sony A7IV. I love this thing but it is huge. I really like my XT30-ii shown here for actual daily use. It is so easy to bring with me and easy to load presets. Fuji has some of the best film simulation. That being said, I haven't had much experience with other brands so be sure to research any others!
I would say find a good camera to practice the fundamentals of exposure, framing, and post color grading. This doesn't have to be super expensive, even a used older professional camera will let you do this.
If you are looking to know what I have here - it is the XT30-ii with a TT Artisan 27mm Pancake lens 🙂. I hope this helps!
