Can't I just use my mobile data as wifi hotspot

Let's say I'm traveling with only 1 phone. I can easily install VPN software on my phone. So does the travel router have a benefit?

I'm looking for something to mask one of my laptops from my home network. I'm thinking of using a travel VPN Router like the one you show, plugging it into my Giga Switch, and then hooking the laptop to that. Would this work for what I am trying to do?

I have two questions. 1) when you connect any of these devices to a hotel network, supposing they are capping the free WiFi at 0.5gb, will these devices bypass that and give you faster? and number 2) The only reason I am thinking about getting one of these is because I cannot cast my phone on to a TV screen using just my mobile data. Can any of these do that for me? I'm not asking how, just I want to know if it is possible and does the manual explain how. Thank you for any advice you can offer!

Is a vpn just as safe ?

I’m looking for a router to use on a cruise ship. You only get one device per person on the Wi-Fi package. Therefore, you have to keep signing off and on with your different devices. Plus, if you have children in your room, you only have two so you have to share it with them. So I’m looking for something just to be able to expand Wi-Fi for multiple devices to a single Wi-Fi connection.no need for ethernet cables or anything like that. I didn’t get a sense of how this works if you’re trying to connect to it via Wi-Fi connection.

Can the byrle AX support wireless VR? I travel for work a lot and I brong my PC with me. It'd be nice to have a solution that allows me to connect my VR headset to my PC wirelessly with a stable connection (something i obviously cant do with hotels due yo how their wireless is setup)

I hate the big mesh cover over the main compartment on these bags. (RHS at 2.34 in video). A waste of space I leave open all the time on my current Tortuga. has anyone had any luck cutting it out, or a similar bag without it? on the fence with this, patagonia black hole mini but if I can find a backpack that doesn't have the random extra mesh I'd love it. thanks!

No personal item bag is good with a single, tiny quick access external pocket. You're going to open that main compartment mid-flight? Best of luck. Pain in the ass

Hi! Great video and new subscriber. I’ve had 2 different sized Tom Tocs and currently an Inoteck. I like the Inoteck, but it’s too squatty and wide. It makes the bag fill up too fast. I think it actually has too many little crevasse and zippered pockets. It makes it hard to remember where everything is! I think I like this Bravo V2!

Helpful video, Thanks. I did not realise the Beryl was physically smaller than the Slate. I have used the slate, the mango and also another model - the Opel. I like the size of the Mango - but agree - Micro USB and lack of 5Ghz are a problem. Hope for a Mango Vs3 soon.

I didn't even wanted to buy this camera, i just like the idea of paper camera, but this is very scary. Even worst that it was their own batteries. I would expect that with every thing that goes on the market, there were some safety test made to ensure that it's safe to use.

Hello, could you tell me if an iPad Air 4 fits inside the Slim Bag

Tried two of these GL iNet routers years ago to make a VPN between two homes, they constantly overheated for no reason and crapped out killing the entire internet connection. Absolute garbage.

I hate mine. Used it once. It's impossible to keep sitting on your back properly. Put any weight in it and the pack just rotates down to your side. Since it can only go on your right side you can't even switch sides to get more comfortable.

This thing is slow when I use it . I do call center work and I wanna work out country with out permission. I got one but for work I the internet is too slow with this router . Besides that it works great

Will this work fine with USB tether to cell phone? I have Visible which is unlimited hotspot and wondering if this would work for a portable unlimited mobile hotspot

Thanks, I’m not tech savvy but will be working remote in a few weeks and this has helped on the travel router decision. Can you do a video on travel edc you would recommend? As in things you take when you work remote.
