Delivery was about two months. Seems like there future of timers and I hope clubs adopt these across the board.

Took over a year for mine to arrive. Nice unit and I like supporting small businesses in the gun community but buyer beware and be patient.
I was loaned one at a weekend club match when our squad's shot timer stopped working. I was impressed with loud beep and digital display. I am encouraged to get one. Thanks for the review. UPDATE Jul 2019. Our club has borrowed a timer for a field test to consider replacing our older shot timers.
Finally got mine. Literally took 7 months.
Thanks for the review , however I was waiting for you to say something about the pocket pro that took up most of the screen the whole video .
I meant to but never got around to it. It's easier to set the par time on the Pocket Pro, but the ability to store multiple par times on the AMG offsets that somewhat.
Honestly the speed of setting new par times on this is the only drawback I have seen.

On your PS Competitor app, when you where showing the timer icon next to the shooter there was also a video camera icon, what was that?
When you sign up for a regular donation to Practiscore then you can upload match videos in line with specific stage results. You also get to add a sponsor logo to your name in the results.
What about for training, non practiscore recording? Any options for self recording?
I saw a post on Facebook that stated that the timer could be left on the table for steel challenge and the tablet could initiate the 'beep' but I don't see how to do that. Any ideas?
The app can initiate the timer and upload scores so no one ever has to touch the timer. You'd still have to leave the timer around the gun to pick up the shots though. If you have a table next to the shooter for steel challenge it could work.
How does this work if shooting at steel, does it pick up the ting from the steel, especially when shooting .22 or .22 suppressed?
I haven't tried to pick up steel, but it would pick up the gun.
Also, there is an echo delay that is configurable. That should cut down on it
How did you connect via Bluetooth from the PS app to the timer? At 3:04 I see the timer (?) icon in lower right of screen. The PS app on my phone no timer icon appears.
Connect in from the shooters view, after selecting the stage to enter scores. You should see the time icon at the top.
@@AlmaCole TKS for the prompt reply. The icon doesn't appear for me at either the squad or shooter menu level. I created a dummy match (IDPA classifier) and created 3 squads of 7 prior shooters from our club. I must be missing some small detail that makes all the difference..
Needs to be Practiscore v1. 6 or above. Bluetooth must be on. Good luck!
@@AlmaCole Yes, it finally connected btw Samsung Galaxy S6 phone and timer. My problem was with the Samsung Galaxy Tab E Lite tablet with the PS app on it couldn't/wouldn't see the timer. All's well now. The tablet had old bluetooth software.

You have to back order. I know a ton of people who have them. Just get in line, they are awesome
@@AlmaCole They should change their website to say backorder rather than preorder. Preorder means it has never shipped yet.
Yeah, had to wait 4 months for mine, but it just arrived. backorder is the word of the day.

For score keeping it's a better timer than the other options regardless of the Bluetooth function. Simple, nice big display. Very good shot pickup.
@@AlmaCole i was just messing, u kept saying very well or really wellll lol i thought it was funny. but i been looking lately id love to get a shot timer. i think it would improve us all. thats pretty expensive, i forget what the blue one was called but u mentioned it i may tryin get that one.
