How to connect Practiscore app to Commander Shot timer Part 3

"Patience young grasshopper' the episode you have been waiting for; connecting the app to the timer. Two important lesson's learned. Device must have Blue tooth software ver. 4.2+ or later. And you connect the two together via the Practiscore app, not the operating system of the device. There must be a match, at least 1 squad and 1 shooter on the device to work. Now watch and learn young grasshopper. UPDATE from AMG-Lab, WOW! they watched video(s). They say that sensitivity level 10 is too high for recording actual gun shots. Its better suited for dry firing practice. And the large hole at bottom of timer is speaker (read the user guide next time Doug!!!) and the small hole is the microphone.

One thing that never ceases to amaze me is the lack of overlap between the shooting and software dev industries. Web, mobile, associated support and innovation, all lag behind in the shooting sports industry by a decade or more. Thanks for helping us interpret PS's intentions. I see nothing's changed there in the 5 years since you posted this.

I have a Galaxy Tab A with PS loaded on it. I use it at all of our matches. I have the timer icon with a line through it just like in the video so I must have the correct version of Bluetooth. When I try to activate the timer in a match I press on the timer icon but nothing happens. I have the commander turned on and I know the Galaxy Tab A sees the timer as I can see it in the Galaxy's Bluetooth settings. Still, I can't get the Commander to activate when I have PS running in scoring mode. What could be the problem?

Best to contact timer mfg. They might have encountered problem before.
