"You don't have to ask to use the bathroom" Maria is immediately better than any teacher ever known
tbh i never got this.. some of my teachers say that and get mad when i ask them to go to the bathroom but also get mad and confused when i just get up and leave to go to the bathroom. like, what am i supposed to do hahahah
@@tomislavaakrap frrr😂like, I never understood the theory behind this .
What am I supposed to do pee my pants?damn lmao
Teachers don’t make this rule, it’s administration. And if kids weren’t getting getting high, fighting, and f**king in the bathrooms, we wouldn’t have to monitor it...
Being a teacher myself, it annoys me when teachers don't want kids to use the bathroom! It's only because of the few who don't want to be in class and play around and get in trouble
Erm... I used to be the kid that didn't do the homework and would ask to go to the bathroom just before the teacher would start asking homework questions 😬 not proud of it though but it worked 🤷🏼♀️
Maria: "Does this make sense so far?"
Me: "Not at all. Continue."
Hahahahahaha
Hahaha lol
😂

Anyone who can speak two or more languages is incredible to me.
I speak 2, Greek (my native) and English. I am also now learning french but i cant speak it very well 😬
In Europe that is quite common. I live in Denmark, and you learn 3 just in mandatory schooling (danish, english and german/french) Some will, in high school, pick up a 4. language.
I took a course with a Zimbabwian dude, who spoke 7 languages. Including something called Xhosa, which he would often use as a party-trick as it involves clicking your tongue instead of certain letters.
I know at least three words in 13 languages
Spanish
Latin
English
Urdu
Arabic
Turkish
French
German
Korean
Japanese
Mandarin
Russian
Swahili
Edit: if you wanna count programming languages I know some html css and Java
Also fluent in pig Latin but I’m not gonna count any of those.

Honestly if I joined my next online class and professor began with “today’s class is sponsored by....” I wouldn’t even think twice. it’s 2021 anything’s possible
Unfortunately we teachers aren’t being sponsored 😂 it’s pretty much the opposite tbh
I once joined one of my classes last semester, it was a basic media arts fundamentals course, and I began with “Today’s class is sponsored by Raid Shadow Legends” 😂
It actually could be a good way for teachers (people who definitely should be paid more) to make more money, as long as it's a legit company and could bring value to students 🤔

I love how Okeyushki sounds like a word that an American would make up as a fake way to say "okay" in Russian.
What's doubly hysterical about this is that a quarter of the Russian language is English cognates, all of which sound either wildly out of place or are so subtle, it takes a few reads to realize it. (eta: clarity)
In Russia we often say “okay” and “okeyushki” 😅
"Milk" in japanese is another funny version of this

As a Serbian, its funny to me when people see B and expect it to be that but then find out B is actually V, or C is actually S, P is R, Y is U etc...and they have no idea whats going on💀
Same 😂😂 except I'm Bulgarian
Well, I think that is because cyrillic alphabet pronunciation and morfology comes from the greek one.
that is a challenge at first. what I'm having trouble with now are the vowel sounds: a and o look different but sound the same, english "short 'o'"; e is not e but "-ye-"; I can't hear the difference between the 2 backwards-N "i" sounds; and there are entirely separate individual symbols for vowel diphthongs that we just pile letters together for. "bI"? "yrh,"i guess? & I've studied a bunch of languages, including hebrew which is an entirely different writing system, so i don't know why these vowels are stumping me.
@@rodrigosalazar9831 right they all go back to phoenician, but there's a split in development after that between roman and greek. the latin system went where Rome went, and the greek system followed the byzantine christian missions to the slavs.
Yeah that confused me when first learning cyrillic

@@Ickerus13 yeah, its understandable. Привет!
@@Ickerus13 , a lot of people here (in russia) have really bad english pronunciation, but i guess what they would understand you too !”:)
A couple of days ago I surprised my bf by saying “I love you” in Russian (ya ljublju tebja) and I only knew this phrase because of your old Russian teacher video that I loved! Now you uploaded this - full circle! ❤️
the fact that you can even hear background noises of students is just amazing😍
One of my good friends growing up was Lithuanian and whenever we’d talk on the phone, about half the time I was sitting there waiting while she screamed back and forth with her mother in Russian. So I got pretty good at figuring out what she was saying just from tone alone 😂
