I lived a very abusive life . I was only 300 lbs when I had gastric bypass surgery 11 1/2 years ago. I now way 169 lbs . Weight loss surgery is not a quick fix like a lot of people think. It becomes a life long job . So glad I did it!!!

My little brother has this problem now. He’s 245lbs and he’s only 11. I’m now committing to losing weight with him. I make him exercise with me and eat the healthy things I do. Trying to get him into healthier habits.
@@kden5204 that’s what he needs the most. Love and support! My thoughts are with you and your brother!! And I pray much success. The best thing I did was set goals. Not huge goals, reasonable as to not lose hope. Keep up the good work. Keep me posted would love to hear how things are going!!!

When I saw 600lbs life for the first time, I thought that it wasn't real! That no one can get that big! That it's just a tv show!
When I worked in the hospital; I found out that people can really be that big. My biggest patient was 760 pounds 😬

Dottie ‘s life broke my heart. I’m so happy she managed to loose weight. She’s a warrior.
When they showed Destiny I legit said “Damn she’d be hot of she was at a healthy weight!” Then they just say “if you could see her now!” Ummm ok show me wtf

I just don't get it if your life is in jeopardy how can you not even try? Yeah,losing vanity pounds is tough for most,but we are talking LIFE OR DEATH!! And to top it off,some of these folks have families! Are they really that selfish,or refuse to see how their passing away would affect others?? OMG these people need therapy as well!! Some underlying cause is "making" them overeat!! Yeah,the overeating is merely a symptom of something else going on which was never addressed properly!!

Sad - so much history of abuse
i can never understand why they don't show clear before and after photos; one woman who lost hundreds of pounds is shown from face up; the other one who went from 600 to normal, they just shot for a second; what the audience wants to see most is the dramatic change, CLEARLY! and btw I have BED but am managing through various therapies, to keep my weight in a normal range
I think it is stated n their contract that they can't do full body pics or vids as long as they r n the program. They usually show the full body in " Where r they now shows".

I don't think so. In almost every episode when they travel to Dr. Now they eat a lit during the trip.
This is called (being a pig) simple. But like everything else we NO longer call things WHAT THEY ARE ! It's not easy to eat less food. It's NOT easy to do a LOT of things. Problem is "EASE" we love EASY ! Now we can have the FOOD driven to our DOORS ! And they make ELECTRIC bicycles,etc to insure NO calorie burn !! Beautiful poetry here.
Yes we do like EASY and if weight loss was EASY no one would be overweight.
