I can’t remember her name, but she was mean as hell, I call her “ cheese grits” because she ate a pot of grits with about 6 slices of cheese added to it. Smh

This patients need to be in a institute for there food addiction like people with drugs addiction. poor people, been a diabetic thanks for there example my mind is blown away to stay away from McDonald's an stay eating healthy as much possible thanks to this people.

Working people cannot afford to eat like. And most of their mates don't work either . So our tax money is spent on them. There are retired people who have to eat cat food. Cut there food stamps in half. Give the. 2 years and cut off their disability checks
Let them take classes for free on line for job employment. Use that money to help the blind etc. People don't work to feed gluttons

They were the absolute worse and Steve is now bigger and lost some teeth instead of weight.
I don't blame Doctor Now for being angry and disappointed in his patients for now following the goal to lose weight because some of them aren't taking this serious. Sometimes they need to have a hard look at themselves and need to hear some harsh truth from Doctor Now even though they don't want to hear it in order to get back into reality and take this losing weight seriously before it's too late. But I'm afraid it's already too late to those people in the video who refuse to try to make an effort to lose a lot of weight.

James King died from organ failure. His body just gave up on him which is not a surprise at all. I only feel sorry for his daughter as everyone else in his life was an enabler. I have no sympathy for James either.
I really hope his daughter is back in school so she can graduate, get a awesome job in a different state and then live her best life :)
I felt really sorry for him. He was so trapped, he looked like a frightened child who was caught lying all the time. Not a bad person, just weak willed and very sick. I want them all to get better.
@@intrepidtomato i love the way you worded it. I get you wanting all of them to get better, I think we all do, or at least most of us do. Thats one of the main reasons we all watch lol. In order for them all to get better, they have to WANT to be better. They have to put the work in to be better. Sadly though, Many believe this is the "easy way out" and a "quick fix". Lets not forget the "can eat whatever i want and get skinny and stay skinny". I'm included into that thinking. I learned that boy was i hella wrong.... I was big. Not 600lbs big, but was on my way to being that way. I had the surgery august 2017. It literally saved my life. i lost 175lbs. I learned if i dont stick with the diet and the basics, you will gain your weight back. I started gaining it back, but i stopped my dumb shit, got back on the diet and lost 20lbs. just a couple more to get back to where i was :) I should have known better my uncle who had it done when it first came out gained his weight back. the ironic part of it all though is when i started being open and vocal about doing this, some of the people who put me down for "taking the easy way out" have now ether just had the same surgery, or about to lol

I have a condition called cushing's....
I love off of 800-1000 calories a day and dont cheat but when my pituitary fails I gain up to 200lbs and have had doctors accuse me of being a food addict....
But when my weight is that high I have to force myself to even eat because the extra weight makes it so hard to be able to eat anything.....
I always wish there was something that could help me lose the weight when it gets up that high but I know even with 6 brain surgeries the only thing I can do is wait for things to balance out.....
I used to say the same thing.... then i started creeping up to that size.... I dont know how the hell these people are not dead when i was close to death when i was big, I had the surgery it literally saved my life.
I’m surprised Joyce from season 8 is not on this list. Remember the 4 ft 10 inch woman who weighed 750 pounds who said the program failed her.

I’m sorry if your not compliant with the program and follow Sr Nows recommendations you should be banned. Weight loss surgery isn’t a magic pill. There’s a lot of work that goes after the surgery.

At the start of every show I’m rooting for them to do good. But if they don’t do as they told or pull the favourite excuse they use of water weight I start to not like them.

Them being overweight is considered a disability. If i remember correctly, if your are over 350lbs, you qualify for disability. With the disability checks, they now can qualify for cheap housing. "like section 8". They are then considered "low income" so their electric bill is cheaper. Also They can get a medical discount by having their Dr sign something saying that they need to run the AC a lot more...... They need to use the heater often..... things like that. They get the food stamps as well, BUT they dont claim they feed just themselves. They claim everyone in the house. if there is like 4 others living in the house, the one whos getting the food stamps will claim that she or he has to buy foor for 4 other people as well "even if no one in the house eats the food" The fast food/pizza junk food is usually picked up by the partner. usually the partner has a job and buys the fast food. Some even max out credit cards for fast food and junk and then just pay the bare minimum each month so the credit card(s) can still be active,.
disability is not a lot of money. and getting into government housing is difficult, so not all can manage it. food stamps (for one person) is not that much either. so they must have many family members helping and abetting this lifestyle. i'm obese, but if i went to all the work and expense to go see this dr and lose that initial weight, geez, i think i'd stick with the plan. and i know my family well enough that they love me enough to NOT sneak the food in and make me do the program.
@@Midlife_Manical_Mayhem you are right about SSI. SSI dont pay shiet. SSDI pays more, depending on how much you were making before you became disabled, though still its no where compared to what you were getting when you were working. Getting disability is hard for many. They LOVE to deny you. Hell I was diagnosed with a cancer that has no cure, and they denied me twice. the 3rd time I got an attorney and he won my case in 3 minutes . He got 25% of my settlement for 3 minutes of work lol. Judge apologized to me and said that I should have never been denied. Where I'm at, a person can get up to i wanna say almost 300 in food stamps per person. thats why many start claiming roommates, rent, "even if they live at home still" etc etc so they can get more. Some of the partners of these people get paid by the state as well as a "care taker" even if the caretaker works outside the home, etc etc.
@@Midlife_Manical_Mayhem Me personally, Ive had the surgery 3 and 1/2 years ago. Best decision i ever made. The diet was hard, though i was not eating as much as the 600+ pound people.
I had it done so that i DIDNT star on the show.... I was climbing up there. When i had to do the diet to qualify for surgery it suuccckkkeedddd. but I did it because i wanted my life back.
You used the wrong Angela's clips. You should do a little more research for your videos. You showed a woman and stated she was a convicted felon and an opioid addict when she wasn't either. That's some serious slander.

@@kelss2023 I ask how do you sneak something in a pizza box into a hospital. Remember the clip is the doctor holding a pizza box. So he snuck in the entire box of pizza upright. My suspicion is they had maybe doors open for patients to go out to a sitting area or something n it avoids nurse stations or something.

here is the thing. these peeps need more food guidance. As a vegetarian i wonder why there isn’t more emphasis on what to eat. its all about nutrition. the people have no life and depression . their lives depend on food and it is apparent they do not know how to eat.

Dr. Now is spending time with patients that don't want to make an effort when he could be putting that time working with patients who are ready for a change. I wouldn't have the patience he does.
To me the newer seasons appear to just be filled with people who aren’t serious and just for entertainment purposes. I believe they are doing Dr. Now a disservice by providing people that aren’t serious just for ratings.

If they can’t walk, they can’t get the food. The people around them could ensure they have a properly balanced diet but most don’t. That’s not love it’s enjoying someone being dependent on you for everything

i cannot imagine going to the work, effort and expense involved in going to see this doctor and trying to cheat and lie your way thru it. i understand food addiction and emotional eating and i am obese (though far from 600#) and if i was going to go to this degree of work, i would stick with it!
