It did end up being a good looking bike. Even with the mods, it was still a bit too underpowered for my taste. Too many years on big-bore bikes, I suppose.

have an FMF slip on pipe with stock heater just curious if other have issues with the pipe running super hot, if i keep my legs in it literally will burn my legs to the point i have to hold my knee and leg out away from the pipe and only takes 5 minutes to get to that temp. anyone else have a similar issue? What can I do thx
I just picked up a WR250X and I'm looking around for mods to do to mine. Yours is in the top 2 best looking wr250r/x I've seen... What does that Devol lowering link do for you? What that Tusk vent hose on your tank do? I'm thinking about getting that IMS tank as well as getting my bike some dirt wheels and tires
Christian Neff - The Devol lowering link goes at the bottom of your rear shock, and drops the rear end height, effectively lowering the seat. The Tusk vent hose allows air into the top of the tank. In order for fuel to flow out the bottom, air has to flow into the top. The billet gas cap accomplishes this via the vent hose in it's center.

I read something that suggests the bike will handle better because of it... but I'm not sure if I agree with that as a main selling point of the link... If lowering the seat height is the primary purpose, then it wouldn't make sense for me as I like the stock height.

For the dirt bike yes, but right ok for dual sport street legal.

Yes. Off-road is where it spends the majority of it's time! Although, it is very capable on the street, with it's other set of wheels and tires.
