WOW!! This was such a great review. Thank you guys! I watch both videos on Brightline and both were very helpful since I’ll be taking the train for the first time going to Miami.
Great video and I appreciate the feedback. I’m in Tampa thinking of going up to Orlando just to ride it down to Miami and come back. Keep up the great work with your videos.
Your previous video documenting your Brightline journey just popped up on my feed today. I was curious how you pronounced your last name since it's so close to the town my parents lived in when they first got married - Gautier, MS. No H, but it's pronounced the same! Anyway, I haven't ridden Brightline yet even though I want to just for the heck of it. I live in Jacksonville, so same state, but still quite a bit out of the way. Glad to see that the windows weren't covered on your ride back, hopefully that's a trend. Supposedly folks up here in Jax have been in talks with Brightline to get a rail service running between here & St. Augustine. It would run from Jacksonville's historic downtown train terminal, which would be fantastic, and way more convenient than from Amtrak's station. As cool as the modern design of the current Brightline stations are though, I would hope they would leave the classical design of the historic terminal intact.
We are doing the Brightline from Orlando to Miami and back later this year. Thanks for the heads up that the smart store is not smart anymore. Also something I wanted to try.😂
@@juliekm6495 if you’re flying in and out of Orlando, I’d definitely recommend riding Brightline down to Miami and then catch an Uber to the port! Thanks for listening! ❤️
I'd be interested to know how much of a price difference there was between the Smart Economy & Premium? It looked to me like you got a lot of "perks", namely food/drinks; with the Premium. I realize pricing is variable, depending on hour of the day that you are traveling.
@@live2skide1 Great question. It varied depending on the time of day, but on average I’d say Premium was about $40-$50 more than Smart Economy. Thanks for watching!
I would take Premium going to/from Miami to either West Palm Beach and Orlando, to/from Orlando to Ft. Lauderdale/Miami/PBI, yes.......Miami to Ft. Lauderdale and vice versa I would do Economy

Very interested in Briteline! I have a cruise in Miami in November! I am visiting in Orlando the prior week before the cruise!

I was expecting you to identify security checkpoints as a negative.
No, I want to know that we’re safe. It was quick and painless.
