    It should be mentioned that Premium includes a complimentary Brightline+ pickup or drop-off within 5 miles of the station via Uber. This is especially nice in Miami as that 5-mile radius also includes South Beach. When you consider the cost of an Uber in conjunction with the food and alcohol, Premium is definitely worth it. Great video.

    Texas is talking high speed train between the 3 big cities. They will import Japanese trains and rails, to avoid inventing the wheel again. Very smart, I think. These Japanese trains (Shinkansen) are very very fast.

    For some reason the seat direction you pick on the app or website or kiosk when you purchase the ticket is facing the complete opposite direction of the actual seat you will sit in when you board the train. It's been a glitch in the online ticketing system since forever. So whatever direction you want to face when picking a seat, pick a seat facing the opposite direction when you purchase your ticket. 😅

    It's weird to hear of people getting excited about a train that is taken for granted in the rest of the modern world. It's even been fazed out in some countries because it's so old. The UK had these trains in 1975 and stopped using them in 2017, almost 50 years ago. th-cam.com/video/Ddb9YgKz5FA/w-d-xo.html

      @@DavionWest Put simply. No you're not.

    • @exoressdelivers70
      @exoressdelivers70 ปีที่แล้ว

      Trains are prevalent in the rest of the 'modern' world because they are behind in air travel. Look at Flight Aware over the United States and you see so many planes that you can barely see the country itself compared to the relatively scarce air transport systems in Europe and Asia. In other words this train is taking the United States back to the relatively primitive standards of transportation (trains) that currently exist in Europe and other parts of the 'modern' world.

    • @Shytot-1
      @Shytot-1 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@exoressdelivers70 Trains are prevalent because they make sense, and run from city centre to city centre. Trains in India carry nearly as many passengers in a day as the US carries in a year. But then again you could be right, perhaps that's why London has six airports?

    • @exoressdelivers70
      @exoressdelivers70 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Shytot-1 There are only 40 airports in all of England and 13,000+ in the United States. There are only 2,000 airports in all of Europe. So trains are more prevalent in Europe because it's an old-fashioned mode of transportation that's been unchanged since the 1800s. Air travel is the mode of transportation in the United States, not trains.
