The fucking AI voices were such a good touch. "I swear to God, if another one of those Nod Shadow Teams sneaks behind us and blows all of our buildings up," had me screaming.
There was a Command and Conquer 4, but it was cancelled and we will never speak of it ever again, any 'gameplay' you think you see of it is just a hallucination.
This is such a cool story thread an army of undead robots fighting an alien invasion while the gdi and nod forces struggle to adapt to this new world Can’t wait to see what they do with it in the next game that’s yet to be announced
It's called C&C 4. Which came out long ago. Don't bother pretending it didn't happen. Denial will only make it worse. Accept it for what it is. The game that botched up the series.
This is how I imagine LEGION in real life. The loss of a single one of Kane's disciples is unacceptable, and that strategy gets thrown out. Only total victory over the fascist GDI is an acceptable parameter.

I am rather disturbed by the fact that you make your obelisks turn into your base in the marv mission. Also. In case you haven't noticed yet. The black hand can build 2 commandos and they both start as heroric.

They also are the characters who typically poses an argument or counterpoint to what ever the protagonist has. To be perfectly honest, that fits Kane pretty well there.
The thing is, when you are playing a NOD side, Kane is your leader, dare i say, friend? From NOD pov, he is definetly not antagonist. From GDIs, definetly.

Not necessarily, The AI won't make too big of a sacrifice at once, swarming with saboteurs will cause the first building or two to be sacrificed, and the rest conceded in the vain hope that the riflemen or whatever That pop out of the sacked building will kill the rest of the saboteurs. I've finished a few missions with GDI forces instead of nod

Oh, also. The reason they don't just add a sonic repulsion field to all buildings to prevent you from capping them is that the field (or laser fence for nod) breaks at 75% health. It'd be an extra hurdle, but you'd still easily be able to grab enemy tech. They failed in that goal anyway, but still.
iirc, some don't count in the endgame screen, so.. it could count as not actually player-controlled units, i dunno Although, it's pretty easy to avoid deaths in Generals, aside of some scripted missions (USA 04 and CHI 07 right at the end of the intro cutscene) in which the player gets control of his troops during a massive battle which were displayed in a cutscene
@@AquaAyaya GLA 01 also starts in the middle of a fight, but it's much easier avoiding losses here. I think GLA 04 is also difficult deathless cause of constant air attacks

so think the reason the system for selling the buildings is inconsistent on some maps is the same trick which is used in starcraft 2 for a couple of missions, simply put rather then facing 1 AI you are in reality facing multiple enemies who share a faction and color which means you cant tell the difference between them outside of maybe booting up the map in an editor, that would explain why on a couple of missions you can seemingly capture one building but not another, one is controlled by AI A which has the auto sell fuction turned off because it owns a mission critical building while AI B doesnt because it has no critical buildings to sell, ofc I could be wrong but it would explain a lot
In the Chile Mission (Doctor Kidnap), you could send the first 3 Flame tank to the Blue Tib Field and the 2nd High Ground Base early on. Only left is the Main Base prior Airfield and War Factory first
I don’t think the Campaign AI can sell construction yards as an anti loss mechanic. That’s why they didn’t bother to turn off the sell mechanism for the AI because they already couldn’t sell the construction yard.
Short notice, there is a gimmick in " The Doctor Vanishes ". If you capture everything in the GDI base, for some reason, free of cost, you will be able to summon alot of the T4 support powers, free of cost and without any delay, this happens for a while until the effect stops. Happened in both runs of mine that I tested.
God, seeing these videos, I wonder if this would be possible with the earlier titles, tiberian sun springs to mind as well as firestorm. However I remember especially firestorm being exceptionally difficult at times, and tiberian sun having some missions that were some real difficulty spikes.
I always thought the hexapod was the weakest of the 3 super units, huh. I do also love how some of the campaign missions don't cap how many redeemers you can build

Could it be that in missions where some enemy buildings are capturable and others aren't, there might be two separate enemy players and only the one who happens to own the objective has the sell script disabled?

Like the GDI ships in the Hampton Roads mission that just keep getting bombarded and sunk by NOD bombers unless you destroy the air tower with your commando; the ships (like this NOD battlecruiser) are bristling with guns but they just sit there doing nothing... Why EA...
For the Doctor Vanishes, you can get a few things done before GDI starts attacking you. This includes taking out some of their power plants and picking up money crates.
Well, there is more C&C! I mean, there is OG one and TibSun, and I'm pretty sure most of missions can be beat without loses with some assumptions (Engineers/Limpet Drones don't count etc)
Whats crazy as a kid i would play vs my dad and flank with flame tanks alot. Seldom wasted mo ey on venoms yet in thisvideo you have finally made your preferences very clear.
Something that might have helped in this run is deployed reckoners infront of warfactories instead of base defenses the things are insanely tanky with dozer blades and heroic nod inflantry inside gives you rather good base defense if you put in militia or Black Hand and 2 rockets. Best part about this is the fact that repairs are free.

Doesn't the TibWars Obelisk look kinda weird tho? The entrance to the obelisk faces the direction of the enemy for some reason :p

If you want to capture a structure in Kanes wrath then you have to EMP the structure first, the buggy's EMP works well

The reason that the spector isnt stealth with the black hand is because the black hand doesnt have stealth units at all not because its bugged

Like the GDI ships in the Hampton Roads mission that just keep getting bombarded and sunk by NOD bombers unless you destroy the air tower with your commando; the ships (like this NOD battlecruiser) are bristling with guns but they just sit there doing nothing... Why EA...
For the Doctor Vanishes, you can get a few things done before GDI starts attacking you. This includes taking out some of their power plants and picking up money crates.

Something that might have helped in this run is deployed reckoners infront of warfactories instead of base defenses the things are insanely tanky with dozer blades and heroic nod inflantry inside gives you rather good base defense if you put in militia or Black Hand and 2 rockets. Best part about this is the fact that repairs are free.
I'm impressed. I always stayed below 200 loses in campaign, but i guess i can do better now.
