i feel like daisy's should be a little higher mainly because it can lessen the blows that power hitters have and be especially good for 2 strike moments where the hitter is pretty much forced to hit it or take the out anyway, plus you can throw the first 2 strikes and then swap to daisy to force them to hit it and get a good pop fly, obviously there's still items to play around but even then the force a pop fly at the very least is a big deal for that
I agree. I've actually become somewhat consistent at hitting it, you just have to swing right after the item roulette jingle ends. If the batter on deck doesn't have an item to use, you'll have to imagine it's there. Definitely not an easy star pitch to hit against, but you can still offset this with skill, unlike Wario's, which is a strike at least 50% of the time regardless of how well you prepare for it.
@@enderfan65 for BJ, it's like 5 to 6 seconds after the animation (or the release), or so i've found possible to hit with a bunt (just make sure you have an item)
My favorite star pitch is Waluigi's. It's so absolutely Waluigi that you just have to love it. I remember I was with a friend the first time I saw it and we both laughed so hard when it happened.
DK's Star Pitch is also nullified by a charge hit, but I'm not sure if it has to be a sweet spot hit or not. All I know is that I have never seen a grounder from DK's star pitch when I play.
If there's actually no way to tell which ball Wario throws is the real one is and it's a real 50/50, then I think it should go over BJ. It's hard but with enough practice you can get the timing down like you're blindfolded. CPUs throw it out a lot so there's more exposure than like Diddy Kong's or even Luigi's
Just guessing I thought that maybe one ball's always brighter than the other or maybe even the direction it spins is different but looking for both hasn't been reliable so 🤷♀️

After watching both star swing and star pitched ranked videos I made a scoreboard on who did the best based on how good they did in both videos so the scores were 1st: Yoshi (20 Points) 2nd: Bowser Jr And Dk (18 Points) 4th: Waluigi (17 Points) 5th: Luigi And Daisy (16 Points) 7th: Peach (14 Points) 8th: Wario (11 Points) 9th: Diddy Kong (10 Points) 10th: Mario (6 Points) 11th: Bowser And Birdo (5 Points) Also this was all based on points so whoever got 12th got 1 point and whoever got 1st got 12 points and so on.

For Bowser Jr. I do a Buffer Strat. Pressing Z Twice and shaking after the second press is a hit every time.
