    Thank you for your detailed explanation of how the data throughput rate is calculated for the downlink on LTE. It seems CQI isnt used for the uplink rate negotiation though, and im having a very hard time finding any info on the uplink calculation, or what numbers i need to look at to determine the uplink. can you share any details about the uplink equivalent of CQI and the procedure that occurs between eNodeB and UE to negotiate the uplink rate?

    4.40 sir you are telling that the probability of error will be less for UE1 which is far from eNB and it is using QPSK. And for UE3 again you are saying that the probability of error will be less for UE3 which is near from eNB and it is using 64 QAM.............getting Confusing sir. pls tell me

      Haha...actually tbs index is just a parameter using which we find out the bits to be filled in transport block :)
