People are pointing out the mistakes in this, but I think the general motive of the video was to kind of show a bad interview and to help avoid the obvious ones they've included these mid video edits

1200/63 appx to 20 people one laptop! Not 120 people! How can we solve it a better way?

praveen chaudhary that's what I also thought would have been a sleeker approach

This is a better approach it seems because the question is about number of laptops not about the no. of cheap and expensive laptops.

very nice video! A fair piece of advice could be that we should start from the very left of the page.

High income should have more laptop, and I think laptop is a necessity now.
So after breaking them into urban and rural, he should have gone to the age group instead of social class (low, middle, high class).
On top of age group 25 to 40 have two laptops these days.

I believe neglecting the rural population completely will lead to a very underestimated result since rural population is a very large chunk of our whole population ,even a small number would make a huge difference so instead of zero should i take 10 or 5 percent??

i assumed Rural areas have 80% Lower class and 20% lower middle class where per household i divide number by 5 (considered 5 person per household) and in rural areas we dont see many shops and also online delivery is something they wont talk off, and the work requirement is too low for laptop so 25 % users will be a fair assumption. Is this good?

Calculation error in the last step while calculating one laptop per x persons. Confusion of millions and billions

Yes you are right, its 1 out of 20 not 200.

In this case, only the laptops with the customers are considered, while ones with the suppliers (or warehouse, etc.) not considered.

Because he approached the problem with the demand side considerations, however, would he have considered the supply side, then the supplier will be taken into account.

IIT has reservations. You can see the difference. One guy was from Unreserved category and the other one was from Reserved category... Anyway thanks for the interview.

Seriously dude?? One guy is the founder of this channel, who wrote multiple questions on guesstimates on quora and the other guy is new dude so it's obvious that he is novice. It takes time to ace guesstimates.
