Roughly 2016 I bought Coverking for the front seats in my '00 Silverado, gray Cordura ballistic. I was super impressed with the fit and build quality of all the pieces except the seat bottom, arguably the most important piece of the puzzle. I griped about it for a few days but then I looked at it again. The second time I went at it hard really pulling it tight along with the straps. It was quite a workout but the results were well worth it!
Just recently I ordered the same covers for my '03 Yukon. I'm was also installing sound deadener, new carpet and a Megashifter in the center console so the seats had to come out anyway. As I'm sure you can imagine having the seats out of the vehicle made installation of the seat cover a hundred times easier. This time, just like the first time, build quality and fit were excellent with every piece falling into place. Except the seat bottom cover. This time however I knew what it was going to take for it to fit correctly and stay in place. With the seat out it took far less time plus I could better route the straps making it an even better fit and look.
It doesn't make sense how 2 people can do business with the same company and have such a wildly different experience with and opinion of that company. All I know is one pair of Coverkings has been sat on 4-5 days a week for nearly 6 years and, while they don't look as fresh as when new but, they have plenty of life left in them.
    All the best

Simple, we're talking about two different fabrics. Great info though, Ill have to look into the ballistic ones.

I had the CoverKing CR grade neoprene seat covers in my 17 ram for 50,000 miles. They were great, no problems at all.
Bought a set for my 19 ram. Like you said they’re not cheap, but well worth the money.

I have these on my 2014 4Runner, 2004 GX470 and 2020 Jeel JLU Wrangler Rubicon. I LOVE them!!! I will tell you that they Jeep set fits a bit odd but still is holding up. I just received my front and middle row for my 1997 Land Cruiser and will be putting them on tomorrow. Crossing my fingers!

How did they work in the cruiser? I need something for my 97'

    • @AZRubicon1
      @AZRubicon1 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@kptheprelander They worked ... BUT! I had to send them back to get refitted b/c the back pocket sagged and was not nearly the tight fit on all my other vehicles. It took a LONG time for them to fix it but the modified covers fit well with the exception of the round hole on the right side of the back of the drivers seat. Not a big deal. For the money, when they are on sale at Costco or through them directly, they are worth it!

One thing I haven't seen anyone mention here, the neoprene seat covers SUCK for hot climates. They don't breathe and make your back sweat like crazy. I bought a Tacoma that had some on it and I removed them because they made my back sweat constantly. I don't know if the Wet Okole are just as bad, but if they are neoprene too, I bet they are. I will never use neoprene seat covers after experiencing these ones from Coverking.

Makes sense, to be fair, my leather seats in my GX and the cloth seats in my 4rd gen suck when its hot too.

Mine are stretching out of shape. Very annoying as the install in my car is quite difficult due to lack of access to behind/under the seat (2017 Fiat 124)

You have used covers now to use as a pattern. Learn to make your own or take it to an upholsterer/tailor to get a quote. Being able to pick a better material makes all the difference in solving your fabric "acrosst" problem

Just bought the CR grade Neoprene seat covers from CoverKing. Went with the more expensive option cause I've heard this was a potential problem on Neo-Supreme covers. Get what you pay for I guess.

Well, I’m really glad I saw this review. I purchased what I thought were neoprene covers for my wife’s Pontiac G6 GT hardtop convertible. This is a 2007 in immaculate condition. Maybe the covers are five years old? They fit great, comfortable, but they exhibited the same problem you have. The upper layer separates from the foam. It looks puffy and cheap. At least I know I’m not alone. My biggest grip is I can not toss them in the washer. Plus they do not spot clean well. If they wore like they fit, I would be very happy. They obviously know they are selling junk and they continue to do so. I have a pair of knitted Coverking covers on my 2008 and I am very pleased. In the hot Phoenix summer they keep my back much cooler than the OEM leather seats.

i just got my Mossy Oak Neosupreme seat covers for my 2020 Chevy Silverado, and let me tell you what i paid...almost $700 from cover king and guess what, the material is garbage!!! The front seats fit is decent, but the center seat does'nt fit at all, its too big and the rear bench seat is a joke, the clips don't stay in and the flaps for the bottom where the clips are is way too long, like 2" too long. Don't know what to really do, but suck it up and use them, cause i hate sending things back on my dime when they charge a fortune for these thing and cant get it right the first time.

Thanks for the video. I'm going to be throwing these in my 17 Silverado today. I did a lot of research as a past Okole owner (1999-2006 so long time ago). Didn't want to spend Okole money and went with Coverking NeoSupreme. Hint of advice, Walmart/Sams Club sells a gift card for 99 bucks which will get you a front and or back set of NeoSupreme covers from Coverking. The card is noted as MODA but in small print, Coverking. Ordered a front and rear set for 17 Silverado, colors are limited, total cost 198 bucks spent purchasing 2 each, gift cards through Sam's club. I received a confirmation email once ordered with 10 business day delivery. I allowed 14 days before contacting Coverking. They stated 6-8 week delivery time. It took all of 8 weeks. Customer Service was not kind. I felt the treatment from CK Customer Service that because I used a gift card and found a cheaper way to buy the same product I was treated as less of a customer. To each their own I guess. Looking forward to them being on. Wet Okoles never had a problem with but as you said, they cost $$$$'s compared to the $$ I just spent.

@@jvdshow Horrible. They sent the wrong ones. I have the order to prove it. They kept telling me I ordered through Walmart which was not correct. They were a pain to deal with and eventually stopped responding refusing to fix their error. I waited 4 months for delivery. I was so pissed I threw them out and ordered Okoles.

Yo Hawk, I like the info you put out about the seat covers, But more important to me is , where can I find that hoodie your wearing, as a Christian and a family man, I would truly enjoy wearing that message, I'm a Army combat vet , and I had to learn the hard way , what God meant in my life and where I needed to be in my families life too, So any info on the merch line would really be appreciated , God Bless and keep " Cruzin" bro !!!
