Know Your Law- Redundancy

The Employment Act provides for an employer to be declared redundant thereby have his or her contract terminated. The Act requires the employer to provide valid reasons for termination of employment and demonstrate that those rendered redundant were a result of a fair procedure. As Dzuya Walter reports an employee who is declared redundant is entitled to accumulated benefits and paid all dues by the employer
