There are a lot of people who say I don't need it anymore because I have pea protein but the fact that you mentioned that it's good for endurance training for endurance athletes is the deal breaker.

Listen, they said that BCAAs in general boost endurance training performance, but that doesn't mean the BCAA supplement is the only way of getting them. They also said that. So if you have a good diet, BCAAs supplements are completely useless. If you lack protein, just buy whey or casein or whatever. All good protein powders contain all kinds of amino acids including BCAAs. Everything they said in the video is true, but it can very easily be interpreted wrongly. After all they have to try and sell it.

Whey protein already has enough BCAAs to support the growth. Individual BCAAs have almost negligible role in muscle synthesis. I'll rather pay to buy 2 packs of Whey protien rather than 1 pack of protien and 1 pack BCAAs

Whey protein has 17 amino acids. One of them being tyrosine for example tyrosine taking by itself has a completely different effect than just getting tyrosine from your protein shake. That is because amino acids compete for absorption. So this logic isn't as simple as told in this video.

100g of vegan meat substitute contains 69% of my leucine RDA (source: cronometer). edamame, quinoa and lentils are slightly lower, but vegan meat substitutes actually have a pretty similar BCAA profile to animal meat

That’s if you get those 100g tbh. I probably get like 50 or less daily. It’s sad

I can confirm that after intensive exercises bcaa is reveling muscle pain. I am snowboarding and doing 4h nonstop sessions and after if I Don't take bcaa my muscles is sore. But with bcaa I can do same amount next day. I don't take bcaa all the time only after intensive exercise or snowboarding.
