Glad to see you are also maintenance before mods. As somebody who just worked out the EGR error - swap out that switch while it's all handy. Great work sir. Safe travels.
@@RM_Garage after everything that needs to be done is finished and all the mods you wanna do is complete this thing will b so worth it. Don’t worry do what u can when you can I think everyone understands it’s gonna be a process.
My 22re’s metal backed timing chain broke in half in turn breaking my timing chain and destroying my valves. Going to go with a dual row because apparently metal backed wasn’t good enough
I ended up just removing the entire engine. Next episode here:

Whole motor is out now!
That’s usually how it goes with these old land cruisers. You get in there a little and realize there’s a lot more to do. But all worth t in the end!!
I'm throughly enjoying your build videos! 🤘🏼🇺🇲
Sweet! Thanks!
Definitely looking forwards to the transformation of this land cruiser. You got lucky getting this rig they are so expensive in today’s market.
Thanks! Yeah I got pretty lucky but now I have all this work to do 😬

Just had this happen to me, unfortunately, not sure what to do but these videos are very helpful.
I had done many timing Chain kit change with out removing the oil pans it takes couple of hours
On a Land Cruiser?
Nice video bro. You need a Milwaukee electric ratchet
A friend left his at my house recently and I’ve been using it. Pretty nice!
Man, that's some tough luck, hoping my 97 it's still in decent shape, but looks like I'm doing a valve cover to check 😅.
Yeah man. And you have to remove the motor for this unless you want to mess around with a short block in frame. Wasn’t worth it to me
what is the size of the valve cover bolts-13 of them right ?

Jesus...that's unfortunate.
@@RM_Garage sure was lol. Good to see yours didn’t interfere at all when it broke
Please let this not happen to me when I crack my valve cover open.
Fingers crossed!
