Aww man I loved that truck, I was even more happy when u picked up the first gen 4Runner. I like that u have a land cruiser but 1st gen Toyota’s are just special. And now both are gone.

Yeah I get it. I'm an enthusiast overall, so there are going to be several different builds that end up on this channel. In the future there may even be car builds. The 1st gen 4runner was going to be my expedition rig but when I stumbled across the Landcruiser I had to make the switch (obviously the FZJ is better for that kind of thing). What I'm trying to say is, there will be many more vehicles on this channel and 1st gen Toyotas are some of my favorite trucks (I've owned 5), so this is not the end!
Also, thanks for commenting on and watching every video! Really appreciate it.

Saddened by the sale but will continue to follow your build. If you got any cool 4Runner or pickup parts left over shoot them my way 😂

Same but it was time to move on! I’m always going to be building something, there will always be content to create and thank you for sticking around!

As far as what to do with the build, at least get a nicer cam and perhaps a crank kit for it? How fast you want to go equals how much money you want to spend on the engine really. Great video, Jim.

Thanks Jim! The go fast parts are so expensive for this motor with such little gain that it would make more sense to just switch to an LS platform. I think I’m going to just drive this stock and keep it reliable.

I sold my 1990 Toyota pick up one of my biggest regrets in life . But now I’m considering buying a 96 Land Cruiser we have too many children

Go for it! The cruiser is a great platform.

Could easily find a donor block that is newer. Instead of repairing the cracked one.

Nothings like owning a TOYOTA, closest things are HONDAs and Subarus. ❤
