Hazel nuts used to be my very favorite but the quality is too disappointing now, they are always a bit stale. I like almonds and brazil nuts. I'm a super taster and, for example, walnuts are too bitter for me. I adore the spicy commercially made nuts but I can't seem to replicate the flavor. I'm not a spicy fan so just adding a bunch of chili powder, like most recipes do, isn't the same as the commercially made ones.

Yummy. When Pecans got so expensive, my wife would use Walnuts.Dust them with powdered sugar, will send them over the top😋

Back in the late 1960's, we lived in Albany, GA. Our house had 5 or 6 pecan trees. We would bag all those pecans and sell them!

For a healthier version, use real maple syrup, cinnamon, butter and pecans. Cook them on the stove until the syrup mixture crystalizes on the pecans. They are so good. Look up recipes online for this. 😊❤
