Hey, I have been using investingdoc@hotmail.com for 5 year but I'm switching now to brad@investingdoc.com. Both emails will make it to me, I'm phasing out the hotmail one though as I am getting more serious about making more vlogs and putting higher quality info out there. Happy to chat soon.
Your videos helped inspire me to start my own primary care practice (90 minutes Southeast of you, I think). I am in month 14 of having my own practice. My office manager quit, and I fired 2 MA's since July. Of course they filed unemployment. Got to love TWC! I won two of these with one to go. Ugg! Your videos encourage me because I know I am not alone on this. I do need to work on boundaries like you say.
@@realmonster5866 it gets so much better but we all go through it! I have been pretty much exactly where you are right now. Once you find good talent, make sure you keep them around.
@@samman4602 If I don't go and blow off steam by running at the gym or trying to work out, I definitely feel like I don't sleep as well And I feel like my productivity goes down as my mental wheels just keep turning. As much as I hate waking up early going to the gym, I know that I feel so much better after I get it done. I would say whatever your self care is to get that same feeling, lean into that.
I have not started but I have been up and thinking so much about my future. I do locums and I out for work for 1 month at times or 2 and it scares me. I know that I need to be my own boss eventually. I need to cool off my mind.
Bro, I hear you. Today I am feeling the same as my new website is still not live and I "want it now ". Plus I want my doctor's busier than they are now even though they only started a few months ago. I feel the pressure, you're not alone. We got to count our blessings though
Hey Brad, how are you? I remember watching you when I was a premed - now graduating medical school and applying to residency. Would you say it's possible to go IM, skip a fellowship, and start a practice off the bat or still need to work for a few years?
Hi, I am a hospitalist who is contemplating transitioning to primary care. Reasons I want to do so is to serve the community, greater growth in terms of career and financially, build equity. Did you do any sort of market analysis prior to opening a clinic? Such as percentage of private vs government insurances vs uninsured? What percentage of your clinic would you say is private insurers? What would you say is the single biggest driver of huge profits in your clinic? Private insurances or anything else? Thank you!
I can relate in many instances, and I now feel it is the same cycle for a doctor-entrepreneur. Thanks Brad.
One of the best videos on the subject- THANKS for sharing, really appreciate it!
Hi Brad! How can I reach you? I have some questions to ask about opening my practice. Thank you for sharing these constructive tips.

I think its absolutely possible, however, a lot of this will depend on how much debt one has upon graduating medical school and residency.
